  what was the change of conditions they did recently.

  When I logged on recently they wanted me to click and agree to new conditions.

  I didn't have the energy to read pages upon pages of small print pdf so gave it a miss.

  When I say "recently" it was likely many months ago now as I've not been back since.

    Self-esteem is set in childhood and cannot be 'grown'.
    That course looks like a waste of time.

        Well I don't know. Can you stop looking outside for answers and be so suggestable? You want to make a change but look to a random book or a random Ozbargainer? Why don't you try to make the change for yourself and see how you go? I think once you realize the people you're looking for approval from are just as flawed you might find a way to make that change.

        Of course you're not doomed. While our current understanding shows that self-esteem cannot be grown after a certain age; understanding this limitation and what the implications of poor self-esteem are, you can help you understand why you say/do certain things, why things make you feel they way you do.

        I suggest giving this a read, and learn to work around this issue. As syousef said above, the people around you are flawed as well. I'm no poster-child for self-esteem myself.

        As for confidence; it can be grown and you can work on it, but I wouldn't rely on a book/course which also claims to help grown self-esteem. It's either a cash grab, or the author(s) don't know what they're talking about.*

        @idonotknowwhy: Thanks mate ! I'm not really lacking on self-esteem, I was more keen on reading about growing confidence but I don't really care I was mostly curious. Read a good part of your link though and that was really interesting !
