EXPLOREMORE

15% off promo. Book by 9/4/17 for travel by 31/12/17, can use twice. Max USD $200 saving per booking. Can be used on bookings that accept promo codes, i.e. prepaid bookings.

Prices similar to CheapTickets and in USD, I have found.

While the current CheapTickets promo is for travel by September, this Orbitz code lets you book a trip all the way to end of December 2017 so good if you are going away later in the year.

T&Cs:

Subject to the restrictions set out in these terms and conditions, the 15% promotion code may be applied to a qualifying stand-alone hotel (not a hotel booking in combination with any other product such as flight + hotel, or flight +hotel + car) booked online with orbitz.com between March 13, 2017 12:01AM CT and April 9, 2017 11:59PM CT, for 1 or more nights for travel between March 13, 2017, and December 31, 2017. Qualifying bookings instantly receive 15% off at check-out through the use of the promotion code. Customers are limited to two redemptions of this promotion code and up to a maximum savings of $200 per booking. After those two bookings, this promo code will not be able to be used again, even if one or more of those bookings is cancelled. Exclusions may apply and most major hotel chains are excluded. The promotion code cannot be redeemed against taxes, supplier fees, cancellation or change fees/penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges, which are the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Need a hotel in Melbourne and Sydney in early May, is this website decent for local hotels or am i better off using an Australian website?

    The forever useless coupon.

Tried this yesterday, I almost clicked on Book until I realized they charge in USD where as I managed to find the same hotel over at Hotels.com for the same price, but in AUD. Even with the 15% off, I'm still better off with Hotels.com.

  • For the hotels I booked today in TAS, it was way cheaper than Booking.com or Hotels.com or Expedia. You just need to pick the ones that accept a code.

Cheaper than your normal website, such as hotels.com or booking.com for a hotel that I wanted to book for Easter Hols in Melbourne.

    Thank you OP.

But without the 15% off, it will be the same.

The advertised price does not include taxes (not to mention prices are in USD), so beware of this and make sure you have done your calcs right.

For my purpose, it worked out well as it is cheaper.

    Cheers

plus cheaper when they give you Ozbucks for each booking, its like 1% cash back.

Also make sure when searching for hotel prices you are signed in as they have "insider prices" if you are signed in.

right now Orbtiz is the main booking site I use, in the last three years have booked upwards of 30 diffrent hotel stays with them, always found them cheaper cause of these codes, Ozbucks and Cashrewards.

    • yep logging in for insider prices definitely makes a difference.
