NO deal for me based on that, sadly.
This was the bee's knees back then when it was flagship and people hacked Windows 7 to run on it. Too bad they never made it native to dual boot in without running an emulation strip. Or else it'd be a good toy to play with.
Great phone, even though I have the ZE601KL, I can't fault it except for the battery life.
And didn't know that Asus actually listen to feedback (or i think they do) :)

Battery won't last all day, but other than that, it's amazing. And at this price point I'd buy it again. Paid 366 a year ago.
Great phone! I have it too (had it for about a year now) and for me the battery life is great. Easily last a day and a half, even with heavy use. I guess it's the luck of the draw.

Yeah lasts all day if you don't use it too much, but screen on time def less than 10 hours. Talk time around 3 hours.
I got bad battery too,
typing app is slow and frustrating,
No lanyard keyhole,
curved back so you can't use ring holder,
too many pre-installed app that you can only disable rather than deleteAgreed but no dealbreakers for me… PS use Google keyboard app.

I have the Padfone S, bought it 2 years ago for 330 aud from Singapore, great phone but battery is 3000A and for the 5" it doesn't last a day without recharging.
I guess seeing the same battery to screen ratio on the Zenfone, you could say that it will not last long, but not sure about the impact processor has.3000mah is the same size as a S7, it should be enough for a day of regular use? What sort of screen on times were you getting?
I'm thinking about getting this phone for my mum, minimal use just basic phone functions, think it should be ok most important thing is battery to last a day though.
This one looks good 4100mah battery but only 720p, which would make the battery last longer TBH
The screen time depends on the brightness you use.
If you are outdoors you have to set it on max, which will drain the battery in half of a day.
In the office though, it may last until the end of the day.
