  • What's total weight with this config? (Eg. 6cell battery added in, FHD screen etc)

  • Should I get this or wait for a dell xps 13 deal on ebay.

This deal is still available as well so I'm torn between the three.

I just need it to browse the web and play movies.

    • Perhaps you would be better off with a Chromebook?

    • IMHO, for peace of mind I would buy the Dell.

      • Why is that?

        • From my experience - better after sales support and, arguably, better build quality.

@ifonlyiwasyounger: Have found Thinkpads better than Dells for support and build quality, no comment on Lenovo consumer line. Dell has the advantage of being much quicker to market with good touchpads, good screens, and Thunderbolt 3.

In this case, at first glance, I would get the XPS 13 due to Thunderbolt 3 port. Screen may also be much better but I have not checked.

i feel lenovo may not be the best for movies. it is more a business/productivity model. Asus and Dell often have nice screens with laptops. (generally at higher price point)

the asus deal you posted is shipped from US so you do lose that "local support" advantage but asus generally have global warranty policies but you may want to double check that.
