Here's an inside scoop. The 'Hash Brown Bites' are literally just Edgell's Potato Gems that come in 1 kilo bags.

good marketing first increase the price of hash brown itself and then offer 8 bites for $2 to make it look like you are getting a good deal. Stay away from maccas hash browns or bites

    No thanks…

  • 8 potato gems for $2 or an entire kilo for $3 bucks at Woolies

  • +2

You can get an entire kilogram of them at Woolies for $2.90. Sorry, this is not a bargain at all, this is their regular price. This post is just an advertisement for overpriced food at McDonald's.

  • This is the normal price of a product sold by a food chain, not a bargain.

not only that, 3 hotcakes are now $5!!!!

ozbargain means it is a bargain… i dont think this 8 pieces of $2 is a bargain.

i can buy a pack of potato gems from aldi and cook it at home, including the gas, oil and dishwasher liquid is still end up cheaper.

  • I sell these "Gems" 18 for $1.50 how is 8 for $2 a bargain?

  • this is the normal price

  • Standard pricing… no bargain
