They don't cook chicken just for the rolls while throwing out what's left from the day before.
If it wasn't perfectly ok they'd be killing customers on a very regular basis as chicken is one of the best products to use if you want to give someone food poisoning.
I remember when these used to be good, how are they nowdays? haven't had one for years because they became really yuck.

I used to get it all the time when the had the 2 for $8 deal.
But it tastes the same as buying one from the freezer at Coles and microwaving it yourself.
Bread is not meant to be served heated up like that. When you order a burger, they don't heat up the buns. They just put the meat and salad in between the buns. The buns stay in the state they were in.
With these rolls, the heat up the whole thing in the microwave. It is not made fresh.
I'd buy it a lot more if it was fresh made.
They could at least invest in the toasters that Subway have. The bread comes out crispy not soft and soggy. And it heats up very fast (faster than the microwave).
I don't mind the Rooster Roll but I can see why some would not like them. They are fast food from yesteryear. Attempting to sign up through the app with no luck yet. The verification email is taking a long time to come through. At Sydney airport tomorrow so this would be convenient (if it's a participating location).
Not sure if it can be any worse than the Uber app. Where it is now asking me to submit my Ghana Driver License despite never been to Ghana, and registered with an Australian number.

But you should get a $5 coupon from sign up, and a free classic quarter meal on your birthday, just make sure its at least 3-4 weeks from activation ;)
I also find the rooster roll to be terrible mainly due to the soggy bread after it's been microwaved together. Maybe it'll tastes and sell better if they just microwave the chicken and put it in a fresh bread?
Often I do that to the supermarket BBQ chicken and I reckon it taste a whole lot better.
