Melamine on this would be a resin, so its either dipped in it or painted onto it…
no one would make this whole thing from it.
So the main thing is made from either particle board or MDF.
As with all cheap furniture, it would be particle board with a melamine veneer which is applied in sheets, and adhered with heat. No more or less scratch resistant than any sheet of melamine veneer board you'd buy from Bunnings.
Plus vote because you've found a cheaper price delivered ($72.99 with choccy discount), but you're being a little tough on the "anti-scratch" part. It's an $80 piece of furniture… Anti-scratch has to be taken with a little salt ;).
Oh, and if anyone is curious… the dimensions are WIDTH X DEPTH X HEIGHT. Isn't noted in description, but an image on link clarifies them.
