The deal from December 2009 is back (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/20456) with another added Bluray!
In the package are:
- Sony Bravia 32" Full HDTV (KDL32EX400)
- Sony Playstation 3 Slim 120Gb
- 3 Blurays (Spiderman 3, Zombieland, 2012)
- HDMI cable

All for $1197!

Can be ordered online, though I"m not sure what the shipping cost is…

Pretty sweet deal, even with the dropping PS3 prices on the 120Gb console.

I was lucky to purchase this pack back in December and no regrets at all.

Dude it's been 8 months now, everything should be cheaper.

It is not a deal I reckon.
RRP of this TV is 899. I'm sure real street price is at least $100 lower than that.
And PS3 can be bought from SonyStyle center for $350 - $369
So you end up paying more ?

yep i paid 745 for this tv a few months ago…

  • I was going to post this when I saw the catalogue as well, but then checked online, and you can buy the TV + PS3 cheaper if you look around a bit.

  • I have seen this in big w for the past month or maybe more..

  • not a bargain.. $350 PS3 from SonyCentre, not counting bluerays (who wants that) tv is like $850.

    • errr what? you don't want blu rays? I'll take em. This was probably a bargain when it first came out, not more than half a year down the track

  • i got this tv for $745 over 2 months ago… great tv but i dont reckon this bundle is all that much of a bargain

  • the tv set is different from the one in last promotion.

  • Wow clever advertising from BigW, i almost jumped at it until i read these comments :)

  • no deal !

    • not a valid neg vote

Not a deal. Plus 32inch TVs are generally in lower demand, they prob have excess stock on them that they want to get rid of. You can prob get it for a much better price if you're getting the TV alone.

  • For anyone who may be interested…
There's 10% off this weekend at Big W for all Woolworths discount card holders. Both in tore and online.
More bang for your buck without postage obviously.

    Confirmed for Victoria.

    • What is a tore?!? A lot of you seem to forget it's not easy to get a ps3 from Sony centre guarenteed. Or a tv for lower than what was posted. I bought a bravia 32 inch for$719 but has anyone posted a source?!? Also you seem to forget your going to get your stuff from big w earlier and no need to pay retail for the hdmi cable or wait for it in the post. Not the best bargain, but for convienience it's ok, unless your not near a big w!

  • Worth considering, but frankly, LCD with CCFL backlighting is old hat now. Samsung LED lit 32" is $799 everywhere with a much better picture and MUCH slimmer. Also Samsung TV's have USB which will even play MKV files (that's a no no for Sony = Blu Ray ripping format)

  • Last years deal was alot better, about a $600+ saving, but this deal states its only $200 saving.

$1000 it should be priced at.
