Very funny how those economic Asian airline price there fares. Just paid almost $1000 for a return ticket on the Easter, this was with no food and luggage. Sydney-Singapore.

Good to use with the new Norwegian Singapore London launch fares - $189

    • +1

Cheapest i could see was about 220usd ea way for norwegian, total fare ends up being 900+ aud. Not that great unless im missing something?

      • I get 199 SGD (188 AUD) one way

      • +1

Norwegian is unique that their prices difer on which country website you enter. to get the 199 SGD deal one needs to enter their Singapore website. I'm sure IWTF has worked this out and offers the SGD fare. Also on your return if you depart from budapest or Spain etc rather than london the price is 20-30 pounds cheaper.

  • Nice find OP! The flights in May were 300+ when I last checked a few days ago - great deal.

Just fyi. I got jetstar to price beat and match scoots flights. To save even more. I used some qantas ff points to buy jetstar gift cards and with the price beat. My flights to singapore was only 58 dollars.

I would have gotten it for free if qantas didnt take their time issuing my gift card.

Get jetstar to beat this for a better deal

    • How? It's not within 1 hour depature

      • +3

Doesn't have to be, just have to be flying the same day. Read up on the requirements.

      • +4

        Domestic = within 1 hours
        International - within 24 hours

darwin flights are with jetstar, air asia and tiger not scoot

Fyi the Singapore to Sydney flight departs at Ridiculous O'clock (2am). Yes it's a good price… Do I want to suffer that again?

    • Free nights accommodation! Wake up ready to go in Sydney!

    • They have two different timings now, they also have a day flight certain days of week.

  • Cheers, book a trip for the family. First time to Singapore! Managed to avoid red-eye flights, hopefully no major delays or cancellations.

I have had issue with jetstar locally before and the wife swore she didnt want to do things on the cheap again…hah

    f1 blackout from syd D:

  • the best I get is around $400… how?

  • +1

For Scoot, it's actually cheaper to buy directly from them @ www.flyscoot.com

    • When I put those dates into the scoot website the prices work out more expensive

  • Hi guys, just how many days do you think you can stay in SG just for short vacation, any advice here? Thanks

    • +1

A week is plenty (maybe go to Malaysia while you are there?) and make it 2 weeks?

      • first time to SG, probably 3 days tops
there isn't much to do if you aren't going to Sentosa etc
Combine with Malaysia, prob 1 week to make it a fun filled one while saving on accomodation costs

  • i cant see the syd-sin returns for $280?

    • Did you try the dates above?

      • yup. minimum $199 each way now.

        • Me too, I clicked a few of the the links for SYD-SG (for example: Dep. 01/Jun Ret. 18/Jun $280 View Flight), it keeps coming up as 398AUD, not 280AUD.

          What am I doing wrong?
Let me know if you figured it out please.

        • @h11deo: Some prices may fluctuate. It was correct as at the posting date.

  • Prices are all $400ish when I look
