  Torn between this and the Hisense 75M7000UWD 75" USD HDR Smart ULED for $2546.

  Can anyone who has done some more research or seen the two side by side or done their comparisons tell me which they think would be better for Netflix and gaming? Free to air not my biggest concern probably just watch some news and occasional tv show.

  My room is kind of dark with a small dim light lamp.

  Just looking for good input lag and nicer blacks I suppose.

    My two cents would be go with Sony and get the most out of the android operating system with apps like Kodi etc.

    Lets hope this is a sign this size of a set will be sub $3k in the next couple of months!

      So tempted too.. But $800 means I could get either a new gen console or small media / gaming pc.. hmm decisions decisions..

      Just wish somebody could tell me what I would be paying an extra $800 for I know the back lighting on the Sony is pretty good not the same as on the x9300d but still good.

      If the difference in quality is so negligible then even going down a size to 65" and lower HDR might be worth it for 1/3 of the cost.

      So far I can't find many comparison reviews versus the aldi ones around Christmas versus these ones.

        I have seen both of them recently,and they both look pretty good to be honest. Size wise just depends on your room size..Etc.
        I am deciding myself between 65-75 and which model, etc..As I'm using the same criteria as you are.
        Price and warranty wise, I'd go for the Hisense and save the extra $$ for a soundbar and anything else you want to partner it with.

        Have a quick read on Whirlpool, plenty of happy owners. For either brand.

        Both models will be refreshed shortly, Sony very soon ..And the Hisense in June/July. So a good time to get a great price if you're ready to go.
