Mother's Day is Sunday, May 14.

We've setup a Mother's Day page which lists any Mother's Day related deals however if you're like me and find it difficult to buy for your mum, then you need all of the help you can get.

What are you getting/doing/have done for your mum OR if you are a mum, what was the best thing/experience you had on Mother's Day?

    Mothers day I'll usually drive past the home I put her in and she comes out to my car to grab some super premium cat food off me, because I don't want grains and fillers in her diet.

    So I'm a single mother of twins and been raising them on my own since birth. It's challenging but the rewards greatly outweigh the challenging times.
    One is a beautiful baby boy and the other is a beautiful baby girl who are nearly two and they recently started daycare as I return back to work.
    Today, two days before Mother's Day, I was lucky enough to receive my first ever Mother's Day present.
    My presents (which are handmade by my children with the help of the ladies at daycare) are gorgeous mason jars covered in finger paint and filled with sand.
    Sticking out of the sand are coloured straws and attached on the top of the straws are the twins handprints in different colours resulting in looking like a small patch of flowers growing from these jars.
    I will treasure them forever and they are now sitting proudly on display in my lounge room to remind me how lucky I am.

    Last year, my Husband gave my 2 school aged children $10 each to buy something from the school's Mothers Day stall. They got me $20 worth of rocks, the typical garden variety of rocks that the craft loving volunteers had sticky taped a paddlepop stick to, which has a paper flag on top that said Mother's day and then charged $10 for it.

    This year I have 3 school aged children at school, my Husband again gave them $10 each and strict instructions not to buy any rocks. They come home after the Mother's Day stall yesterday and the eldest tells us that the 2 younger ones have spent all their money on rocks.

    Mum loves high teas, so I try to arrange to take her to one of those when possible. This year though, she's too far away for us to do that, so I got her a photo of her with me as a baby on a keyring, from ArtsCow, instead. I hope she likes it…
