Universal leet converter converts text to leet speak (encode) or leet speak to text (decode). Input the text or leet speak into text area called "input". Choose mode "customised leet (select)" or "customised leet (enter)" for your own leet transformation.

    This is a game?
Used to do this with my Uni's mainframe way back (used by government departments).
That game involved not being caught, identifying & manipulating the many security flaws in the operating system, gaining higher level access with 'found' passwords to government accounts, knowing the blind spots of security cameras guarding the critical interfaces (old terminals), & denying all knowledge to the Director who obviously knew what had happened - but had no evidence…
No information was leaked, no damage done, it was the challenge to just take over the system temporarily or gain higher security access without being caught.
Came with real consequences like suspension from uni if caught, or an interesting job if you were exceptionally good.
Ah, my misspent youth - now an App.

    • Sounds like a scene from the Julian Assange movie.

      • JA was was in kindy at the time & the term hacking was not one we had ever heard of.
It was just something we did to keep amused before lectures.

        • Mid 70's eh. The Director of what may I ask?

        • +1

          @bargainhunter:
Uni's Computer Services Director - just a casual chat… "Did you take unauthorised control of the PDP-10 (mainframe) the other day? We know it was you?"… "Who? Me? No Sir!!" (No anger in his voice, more respect.)

End of investigation. No police involvement, no dark room & bright light in face - things were civilised back then.

(At least 2 students were suspended from Uni following my hacking process. I had warned them to stay out of security camera shot like I did. Had got bored after months of unauthorized access & made the security flaw available.)

Security flaw I discovered meant could take control of other terminals & harvest whatever was entered - passwords & account details or operating commands from the computer centre controlling the mainframe. No one realised what was going on until control of the mainframe was taken over. I had always released control after receiving sensitive information - making it look like a delay accessing the computer. But after realising the security had been breached, printed change password notices were everywhere. How times have changed :-)

@Infidel: these days it'd be mass hysteria. Is there a statute of limitations on hacking?;-)

        • @bargainhunter:
Currently in Japan - I wonder what is the address of the Ecuadorian Embassy?

(My area has too many Australian Embassy officials - they have a beach house nearby.)

My new address: Ecuadorian Embassy, 〒106-0031 Tokyo, Minato, Nishiazabu, 4 Chome−12−24

        • @Infidel: Chiba City Blues. Are you on a working holiday?

        • +1

          @bargainhunter:
Can neither confirm nor deny that. All correspondence through my lawyers.

But a holiday home by the beach, drinking Yamazake whiskey at this time of the day might give it away ;-)

Maybe I'm working on my name-all memoir. My writing desk has a wonderful view of the sea, and the mountain stream below.

My slushfund PayPal account details for contributions to my "legal costs" is available on request for those who don't want me to remember them ;-)

        • @Infidel: sounds good.
The storage room/asylum at the Embassy d' Equador is 8sqm with a view of Shinjuka station car park. BTW.

        • @bargainhunter:
I noticed your name in the visitor book ;-)
We all wind up there somehow after Chiba City Blues.

        • @bargainhunter: unauthorized use of a computer system was not a crime until 1995, so no need for statute of limitations.

        • @abb: that does change things but it appears the subject is already an Ecuadorian.

        • @Infidel:
          Don't you mean Bitcoin Address?
          :P

        • @0p:
Any payment system will be accepted - Yamazake whiskey at critically low level. Tokyo Ambassador d' Equador says sí, as is also enjoying my whiskey😯
