"30 Day - No questions asked guarantee"

    of what exactly?

this just looks like a glorified workout program specialising in pelvic floor exercises. This information can be obtained for free elsewhere.

      Hey Jobler,

Thanks for the note. The guarantee is one of satisfaction, if you are not happy with the program we will refund your money in full within 30 days no questions asked. We've put a lot of hours into the program in planning, filming, and editing so we stand by what we've put together to help prepare mums.

You may have noticed (or not if you just gave it a quick glance) there are in fact zero pelvic exercises in this program. As a women's health physio, pelvic floor exercises (aka Kegels) are not something that I prescribe in my everyday practice. This program includes habits, information, movements, and lifestyle changes you can make to help decrease your risk of things like Incontinence, Diastasis Recti, Pelvic Pain etc during and post pregnancy. The old school, more conservative approach to pelvic health might be what you're referring to?

As far as it being a glorified workout program, there is three 20-minute workout flows, 1 for each trimester, one module on exercise during pregnancy, one on squatting, and one on movement/walking during pregnancy. So to respond to it being a glorified workout program, there are aspects of exercise during pregnancy as this was a high demand topic, but there is so much more as well.

As I am also a certified Restorative Exercise Specialist under Nutritious Movement (natural movement and biomechanical basis) I have incorporated aspects into this program that would not be seen anywhere else and can guarantee this information is not free elsewhere.

      Things like:

*Your alignment during pregnancy, both sitting and standing and the effect of the loads of a growing baby can have on your body (think hip, back, and pelvic pain, incontinence)
      * Whole Body Pelvic Floors - How the pelvic floor and the whole body works together as a system, and how your everyday habits can impact your body.
      * What pelvic floor issues you could encounter and how to spot them. Enabling you to seek help if needed.
      * Labour and delivery and early postpartum care
      * Interviews with a Lactation consultant, mindfulness coach, exercise specialist, and paediatric physio

I created this program because I have seen a great number of patients that have come to me with issues that could have been prevented had they been privy to the proper education and movements ahead of time.

Hope that answers your questions, if you have any others please let me know!

  • Isnt the hospital do it for a small fee or free in the public?

    • +1

The one my private hospital offered (Nepean) was about $350 for a two-day course (rough price guide - cant remember exactly), so this is cheaper. I was told by previous participants the Nepean one wasn't that great so I'm going into labour blind and will wing it, god help me.

    • Hey LoveBargain15,

Thanks for the comment! Yes most hospitals will provide some antenatal education about labour & delivery, and pelvic floor exercises for free, or for a fee - as Gotchacha mentioned below, however it is very different content and I've developed the program particularly keeping in mind women who don't have easy access to Women's Health Physio services.

As a Women's Health physio, I see a lot of patients who experience various issues related to pregnancy and repeatedly ask - "Why didn't anyone tell me BEFOREhand that this could happen, or that I could do something about it?" Pelvic floor issues (like prolapse, pelvic pain, painful sex, incontinence and so on) and abdominal separation are really just not discussed in the hospital classes.

We focus on all the things that YOU can do starting from day 1 in your pregnancy to prepare your body for pregnancy and childbirth, with the goal to help reduce the risk of pregnancy-related dysfunctions, optimise your labour and delivery, and improve your postpartum recovery, as you can see in the post above.

Hope that is helpful, and please let me know if you have any other questions :)
