  • 1 per customer makes this pointless as if you have a need for these you need more then just 1

    • Weird logic mate.

      • Care to explain?

    • Just buy with multiple accounts, sure you pay for two lots of shipping but this value is very good.

It's not useless when you're adding drives to your existing nas!

    • Yep. I have an existing home server box and only need about 4-6TB additional storage. Would suit me fine.

There's also single disk scenarios (backup drive) or basically just any setup where you pool storage instead of mirroring it where the drive will be handy and doesn't necessarily need more than one.

  • How are these compared to the HGST NAS drives?

  • Awesome price. Thanks OP

  • out of stock

  • Gone?

  • I don't feel good when a Hard drive sending by post… not sure if it's handled properly.. or been thrown and dropped many times…
It's cheaper than local but if it fails… then you have to return it? (costly?)

    • They're rated to handle 250G shock when not running. So unless the courier unpacks it from the box it will be perfectly fine.

    • Just think of the other way around, it was shipped from the manufacturer to US and ship to the reseller and finally get to the end user.
Same conclusion as @abb, unless it's unpack otherwise I don't see any reason it will damage by sending by a post

You know all hard drives come via post right? Just cause you bought from your local MSY doesn't mean it originated there…. It was shipped to MSY to start with.

Its shipped differently when its shipped in bulk.
