Someone sent me this promotion on Woolworths Car Insurance. When you buy online:
I did a quote but unfortunately it's no cheaper than my current insurer but I guess someone might want to test out the comparable insurance price beat claim.
WTF… I just called Woolworths Insurance to get a quote for my Starlet and they tell me it doesn't exist. So they cannot help me.
Apparently I drive a non-existent vehicle :(
LOL, I previously had it insured with JustCars for many year but they have closed down now. Shannons is way more expensive than JustCars ever was so I thought I would try Woolworths for the gift card and also I have another car insured with Woolworths.
Damn Damn…. I am trying to get a CTP green slip but unless I have comprehensive insurance they want to slug me an extra $250 on my Green Slip. I get shafted one way or another…welcome to NSW :/

I'm with Coles car insurance now. My premium now much lower than what i quoted from Woolworths Car insurance. I just wondering if i get the price match from Woolworths for this year,how about next year premium?Stay as low as this year or back to Woolworths normal price?
Been a loyal customer of Coles for many years - never made a claim - and yet they wanted $1207 for our new Mini cooper.
Got the same level of cover with Woolies for $603 using this offer… it doesn't make any sense to me!!
Switched from Coles to Woolies based on this deal (and getting the $100 gift card). There was no difference in price between selecting 4000km and 9000km but it started going up after 10000km in 1000km increments.
I don't think I'll get anywhere close to 9000km in the next 12 months..
Coles was around $40-60 more expensive (per year) and I couldn't see any particular bonus or discount for staying with them.. that said I was tempted to see if they would price beat Woolies but it was already so low that I simply couldn't see them taking $100 off (which was the gift card value..)
Looks like they have taken off $100 gift card.
Does someone has T&Cs for a gift stating when when we should expect to receive it?
Within 45 days as per the T&C on the site now.
The code worked for me last night, the T&C stated I would get the $100 gift card, in fact all it said was:
*Card sent up to 45 days after payment of your first monthly/annual premium. Offer conditional on holding this insurance for a minimum of 30 days and first premium payment received by Woolworths Insurance.

I saved $50 plus will get the $100 card on top of that so I'm very happy.

I just went through online and the code said it was valid
I did the same quote over the phone and the agent said the code was only valid for june and july. I went through with the quote to before payment and could not see any inclusion of the code in the checkout. Might be work taking a screen shot if you do take the risk!
So how I can do the price match? give them a call?

Coles insurance was 640, woolies price beat for 590 and extra 100 gift card on top. Spent 15minutes on the phone, Hyundai i30 2014
Thanks for that info, maybe the call center worker got things wrong. I'm calling on the 46th day if I haven't received both the points and the gift card. I'm sure they will keep the recordings for that tome frame, so even though I might have some drama, I'm going to win this one.
