  I have the Telstra equivalent of this (less the car kit part) and these are good as they just be plugged into a usb power source and used as a hotspot.
  Not as good as the battery operated hotspots but does the job too.

    Yep, I have the same thing. It's a hotspot to my android headunit and I don't have to worry about a battery exploding in a hot car!
