From what I can see, it's 37 pound from dvd.co.uk which is about $62-63 + postage and probably currency conversion fee.
Deal listed is probably for people who want a simple transaction, and the protection of Paypal.
when going into checkout vat is removed makes it to 32.5 pound including delievery. Ozgameshop does not take out vat even though they say they do.
I don't know why you got negged for stating a fact. As it stands, this seems to be the standard price accross UK websites so therefore no bargain.
This is probably a dud question….but the xbox 360 games you buy from UK, they will work on AU consoles i presume?
yes, because unlike a dvd/blu ray, its the format of the game thats important (pal) and not the region
a lot of people buy cheaper games from the uk, over the internet, the catch is local stores wont accept them for trade, so youd have to sell on ebay or some other place if you dont like it
i think a pre order with game is better, sure you pay more, but you get a copy you can trade, and a free copy of the world cup on the same format
ozgameshop also ship different regions of the same game if its compatible with pal consoles. They sent me an ntsc version of Bioshock 2 despite the picture on their website showing the PAL-UK version. No DLC for me.. =[
I can vouch for dvd.co.uk, they do indeed remove VAT and use the same postal service as ozgameshop so it's just as quick. They work out to be considerably cheaper even after the 1.30 gbp shipping fee =]
