    The H-wood mens boots are pretty good at this price. Reasonably comfortable and good weather protection.

      I don't know if this seems like a coincidence but the Hwood boots I got literally feel like wood..uggh pretty horrible in my experience.

        They are certainly stiffer than some Windsor Smith boots that I had (and wore to death), but at $50 I don't mind them. The WS ones were $170, so for the price I can forgive a little initial uncomfort.

        Listing says "Genuine leather upper" but in my experience Genuine Leather could mean anything.

        Just wanting something that is going to last, and won't crack or crease straight away.

          I'd avoid Double Oak Mills. I bought a pair of their shoes a while ago and they felt plasticy and squeaked when I walked. Not great

          I bought the exact shoes you linked during 30% off sale.

          They feel great and don't squeak at all. I had to buy 1 size bigger as my first choice didnt fit, but using their free returns and exchanges it was pretty easy.

          They're $9 cheaper than what i paid now!

          second avoiding Double Oak Mills & H-Wood… they don't last that long compared to slightly more expensive shoes. They are Iconic brands I believe.

          Genuine leather is a grade of leather - it is the second lowest quality, I believe.
