  • jst wondering ll the good guys do price guarantee on it? if i get 20% off in the next code, will they reward the difference?

    • +1

      FYI - they dont match ebay prices or themselves

    • price match/beat is never after discount code, has to be available listed prices.

      • so can i order one now and cancel and re-order if another deal with 20% off comes?

        • +1

          June is here and its EOFY, we'll probably get the 20% off from ebay next week. Just wait a week or so you'll be good. Motorola might even do a 20% off on the g5 plus 32gb on their website.

          @babymos: hmmm…to wait or not to wait..l

        • @babymos: Does the official Motorola ever does EOFY sale? I searched Google but couldn't find anything from last year…..

  • worth getting g5 or g5 plus? for that extra $100 on g5 plus?

    • +1

      i went with the plus mostly for the better processor, bigger screen and a little bit extra battery life
      do a comparison. from the reviews, this is one of the best budget android phones there is excluding looking at the Chinese offerings

      G5 has 2GB RAM and SD430, G5 PLUS 3GB RAM and SD625 - I think it's a big difference in performance and don't find the G5 much of a buy. G5 Plus also has gorilla glass and slightly larger screen.

      Keeping in mind the G4 Plus had a SD617, the G5 SD430 would be a bit of a step back in that case for the same price as G4 Plus.

      Edit: Comparison link

      Moto G5 will only work as a 2G/3G or 2G/4G configuration. 2G is being phased out in Australia, so G5 is bad for dual sim functionality - must get G5 Plus. See this thread: https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2611635&…

  • No 32G/4G version for sale ?!

      Not available, only seen it on Mobileciti some time ago but sold out now.
