  • I have seen it work. It does really good work.

  • I'm just wondering…
same thing can be bought at Zapals https://www.zapals.com/xiaomi-mijia-smart-automatic-vacuum-r… for $350.67, and although shipping is (for some reason) $74.18, it comes in at $424.85. Cashrewards is 8% for Zapals, so will come to approximately $390. Processing time is only 2-3 days and shipping says 5-8 days. It's about $7 more than this ShoppingSquare eBay deal but I think for the time factor, it would be worth the little bit extra. Am I missing something?

    • Check Zapals warranty vs Shopping Square. I have ordered from Shopping Square… :-)

And don't believe that "2-3 days" processing time for a minute.
I've waited nearly two weeks for something just to be "processed".

The likes of Gearbest, Banggood, shoppingsquare etc… all seem to give realistic delivery time.
Zapals, for me, has always been way, way after the expected delivery date.

      • Ok thanks. Good point. I wonder how important the warranty will be.

  • For anyone who has got one of these, Can you please let me know how this goes noise wise?
I find my roomba 780 too noisy to be on when i'm in the room/house - is this a similar situation - can only use when you're out?

    • No you can definitely be home while it cleans. I have it on while the baby sleeps and it doesn't wake him up.

Really regret buying one from roboguy. Still waiting and its been weeks. wondering if i could get a refund and order this instead. Id happily wait for roboguy to pull through but need it by later this month as its my mums birthday

    • agreed i am really contemplating a refund - just emailed him for an updated ETA so I can judge.

      • is there an updated ETA yet?

  • Which site has the best price plus 1 year Aus warranty?

  • Just placed an order from shopping square ETA delivery is jul 6th to 20th

Ordered mine on 2nd June, got a dispatch email on the 7th and it arrived today (VIC)

  • got mine today. well packed.

  • Mine arrived today too in Perth.

  • Mine has arrived today in Wollongong (but as per a couple of other posts) chasing down english language manual and settings for it if possible..

    • I've since found the manuals with some googling

It's worth noting you really want to consider buying the 'virtual wall' which it turns out is a magnetic tape. It seems to go for between $16 (zapals) through to $30 (ebay). Just buying magnetic tape seems a lot cheaper but unclear whether it would just work…

Also worth pointing out that the iOS app gets only 2.5 stars and has a bunch of notes about lack of english - so if you have expectations of even a basic app, you may want to check it out first..

I haven't found anything that allows it to talk English yet either.. so I guess, get used to hearing chinese whenever it fires up, docks and so on..

      • I have one on the way.
From all reports I've read there is a firmware upgrade that allows you to change everything to English.

Have one and can confirm this is correct.

      • I'm going to line up some fridge magnets (which are basically the same thing) on the floor and see what happens. I'll let you know :)

Late reply, but fridge magnets don't work :)

    Mine arrived in Brissy yesterday.

    • When you start-up the (android) app just select United States, so that the app is in English.
    • Connect directly to the vacuum via it's own wifi point to set it up.
    • After the vacuum is connected to your home wifi you can change the spoken language of the vacuum to English in the options, and update the firmware if you need to.

I was surprised at how well it cleans :)

  • What is the name of the Android app please?

    • Mi Home

      • Thank bro. I would like to point out delivery is quick. I ordered on 11th this month and received it today.
