  Bought my tix from airasia directly and was delayed and downgraded. Asked for a refund for a downgrade from flatbed to norm, and a statement from AA so that I can lodge a claim for additional stay, transport etc, and AA totally ignored me. Past the dateline to lodge a claim with my insurance because AA did not provide any statement from them and AA ignored my refund thus far. While their flight is cheap, but be prepared for delays when it happens.

    Put a complaint on their facebook page and they will sort you out real quick. When I need a refund I put my complaint on quite a few times on their page. Worked wonders.
