Mate of mine suggested a few Jackall lures for Murray Cod at $30+ each. And do you know how many cod I've caught on Jackall? F__all!

Always good to get a few more lures to donate to the river gods!

  • Is the Jackall for freshwater fishing?

    • I'm from Brisbane and use the jackall to fish in the dam, very good for yellow belly/golden perch

  • I've spent hundreds of dollars on lures over the years, probably thousands, but if you tell my wife, I'll deny everything. I've caught as many fish on $5 lures as I have on $20 lures, I've got boxes of them.
I will still spend too much on this deal.

Edit: If you buy cheap lures, just upgrade the split rings and trebles. Less tears.

    • totally agree with upgrading the ring and trebles. also need to pay attention on the knot, took me a while to get it just right so the lure moves well in the water

  • Where are you guys fishing? Any good shore fishing spots in Melbourne for lures? I cant seem to ever get any hits on lures.
