Makes me think of that episode of Seinfeld when Kramer and Newman buy that shower head that is used to clean elephants. I think it was called the Comanda 450 LOL

  • Yooooo I ordered a similar one of these last time a deal came up and it's dope. 10/10, would recommend.

    • Thanks for your comment and great to hear you love your shower!

  • Alright - I'll bite - taking 2… hopefully the housemate likes hers as well! lol

Thanks for your order, don't forget we have a 30 day no questions asked return policy. That way you can guarantee a happy housemate too!

Is this as good as the Serbian Commando 450?

    • +4

Is the Serbian Commando 450 WELS and WaterMark Certified? All of our shower products are certified to Water Mark and WELS standards including flow rate, spray pattern and temperature drop. This is your guarantee of a quality showering experience. I'm sure Kramer would approve. Cheers

  • REP, do you have a handheld shower set that does not come with the plumbing fixtures? I have existing height adjustable rails (which could do with replacement, but you don't seem to sell those).

So basically, am chasing the handheld bit, the hose, and possibly a height-adjustable rail (if the material is of a lasting type).

  • Are these easy to install? Just twist off the old one and twist on this one?

    • +3

Hi, the shower head is very easy to install. Simply unscrew your existing shower head and screw this one on in its place. Before buying one please take a look to see if your shower head does unscrew from the arm. Some shower heads that come with their own shower arms can't be unscrewed so it's a good idea to check this out first. Cheers

The arms are only <$20 at Bunnings though! And you get less rust to boot.

Hi, we do have a hand held shower and hose combination for $29.95. It is not on our main website yet but you can check it out here at eBay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hand-Held-Shower-amp-Hose-Full-Ra… Cheers

    • Will that fit a Grohe "holder" - the Grohe handheld shower I have at the moment is leaking and I wanted to replace the head.. the Grohe "holder" seems to hold the end of the hose - do you sell the hand held shower without the hose?

      thankyou

      • Hi and thanks for the question. Unfortunately we only sell the handheld shower together with the hose. The reason for that is the hand held showerhead and the hose were tested together as a combination for WELS certification and that means we can't sell the shower head separately. If you would like to purchase the hand held shower and the hose combination we don't have them up on our website yet but you can grab one from our ebay store here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hand-Held-Shower-amp-Hose-Full-Ra…
        Thanks again, Peter

        • No worries, thanks for the informative response!

    • Thanks, that's what I'm after. Will get one.

      • Glad to hear we could be of service and I look forward to fulfilling your order. Kind regards. Peter

        • Thanks Peter. One little note: many eBay promotions, including this one require a $30 minimum spend. I also have an eBay coupon from Australia Post giving me $10 off $30 spend.

The item you advertise is $29.95, meaning people can't make use of the promotions. Perhaps in future, increase the price by $0.05?

EDIT: my daughter just scored a $1 hair accessory.

        • @Make it so: Tanks for letting me know. I'll keep that in mind when pricing. Pay an extra 5cents to save $6 is good value. Cheers

  • I am having low water pressure problem at my unit..will this help?

    • Hi, do you have a gravity fed hot water system? If you do this will not help. If you are on mains pressure hot water but only have a low flow rate this shower head should work very well. It only uses 7.5 litres a minute and feels like a full flow rainfall pattern. I hope this helps. Cheers

    No led lights :(

  • How do these compare to the Aurajets? (https://www.methven.com/au/aurajet)

    • Hi they look pretty amazing but I have never tried one myself so I can't really comment. Cheers

Is the same head from the kick starter campaign?
    https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/471764899/cullectortm-u…

    • Hi, Yes this is exactly the same shower head originally developed for the Cullector. The feedback has been so good we now sell them separately! Do you have a Cullector? Cheers

      • No i do not, but now i have the head on its way to me :)

        • Thats great, hope you love it! Cheers

  • I need the arm as well, do you sell that?

    • Sorry but I can't help you there. We only have the shower heads at the moment. It's a standard fitting so you should be able to pick up an arm at your local hardware store. I hope this helps. Cheers

  • We used to have one of these. It never sprayed in the right places. We now use a smaller head with a long hose.

  • Grabbed one impulsively due to the 30 day no questions return. Our current head has seen better days, hopefully the wife likes it.

  • Wonder how much difference there is between 9L/min and 7.5L/min.
I'm generally not a fan of the reduced flow rate heads, they spray too sharp for me.

    • +2

Thanks for your question and I full understand your concern. When the Australian Government brought in the WELS (water efficient labelling and standards scheme) that required showers to have a flow rate of 9 L/pm or less the testing requirements were nothing like what they are today. Either you had death by 1000 needles, had to run in circles to get wet or had a scalded head and frozen feet!
Fortunately things have come a long way since then and you can now have a great shower at 9L/pm or less if the shower has been tested and certified to current WELS standards. Just like modern cars get more litres per kilometre and are more comfortable.
The current standards set by the Australian Government are mandatory and very strict. All of our products at Water Saving Showers Australia are WELS and WaterMark certified. The testing is undertaken by independent testing laboratories and includes Flow Rate, Mean Spray Spread Angle, Temperature Drop and Watertightness of End Connectors. This is your guarantee of a great shower at low flow rates.
Be careful of buying any showerhead that is not WELS rated as they have not been tested for comfort and can use a lot more water.
Please feel free to try the shower head for 30 days and if you don't like it just send it back for a full refund. No questions asked!
I hope this has been helpful. Cheers

  • Bugger, just noticed you have another one with the arm. Can I get a refund /cancellation on the head only order?

    Order #1176 initials are OA

    • Wow awesome service from Peter. Brilliant customer service. Thanks!

      • Thank you, not a problem at all. You order is due to be shipped by Star Track Air Freight tomorrow. Cheers

    • Not a problem at all. I'll do that now, thank you.

  • Ordered the one with the arm. I live in an apartment that has a weak water flow, so hopefully this helps!

I was going to buy that Korean one with the rocks in it (weird), but thought I would try this guy first, as its probably meeting more standards!

    • Thanks for your order and for supporting Water Saving Showers Australia. It's good to know you can always return it if you are not 100% satisfied or pick up the phone and let us know if you have any queries. Australia has one of the highest levels of standards in the world through WELS and WaterMark. Both of the standards need to be achieved to legally sell showers in Australia. Always make sure you see the WELS logo on any shower products you buy to ensure it complies. All of our products are WELS and WaterMark certified. I hope you love your shower and please let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Kind regards. Peter

  • Hi, Do these have the ability to remove the restrictor in low pressure areas (assuming they have a restrictor)?

    • Hi and thanks for the question. They do have a flow restrictor and yes they are quite easy to get out but I am sure you will not need to. The shower has been specially developed to give a great shower at only 7.5 Litres per minute. If you have a gravity fed hot water system or on gravity fed tank water you may want to try it with out the flow regulator but if you are on mains pressure I would try it with the flow regulator installed. Cheers

  • hi, Bought two. Thanks

    • Thank you for your order. You shower heads are booked in for pick up today with Star Track Express Air and you should have them by early next week. Cheers
