    Its a 2.5" usb powered hard drive. Not a 3.5" mains powered drive which is cheaper. So yes its a good deal though not as good as the $79 500gb WD 2.5" I got from Bing Lee with a $30 off coupon. Back in march.

      $89's not that cheap these days, remember the $69 Seagate a lot of us got on mln/OW pricematch a few months back.

  You can get a 640GB Samsung 2.5" external drive for $85 at ITestate. Not to mention there are cheaper prices for a 500GB external at MSY.
