  • Any comments on the quality of the magazine? Anything I can't find quicker and free online?

Also available digitally for $39.99 with auturenewal (doesn't say, but you'd have to presume the subsequent years are at normal price).

it's mostly commonsense. you'll find it rehashes the same stuff every year with some updated info.

But as suggested by @BargainBenno, it'll probably be available at your local library if you want to skim through it. Or even better it's available free, via your local library, on Zinio app. The nice thing is you can opt to get emails when new issues are available. I get New Scientist, Economist and Money mags this way. It doesn't cost a cent, I can download & read them whenever.

      • Yes, I forgot about Zinio. Now that's a dal.

      • Just read comments on Zinio for Libraries, seems like lots of problems with this app and it no longer allows you download and read later.

    • It's pointless garbage created to sell advertising not make you wealthy. The advertising is for services that will make you less wealthy by taking fees.

      • Yes, that seems to be the standard practise in the financial world. Impossible to get unbiased, no strings attached advice even if you're willing to pay for it.

This is available in electronic format from most public libraries through the internet and you can download and read it on your PC or phone using Zinio for Libraries. Unless you love a paper copy I can't see the value. I mean you can always print off pages from the electronic copy you view if you really want to have a paper copy for the bus etc.

If I can suggest the Barefoot Investor book by Scott Pape is fantastic. $20 I think…

    • Yeah him & Paul Clitheroe (i just realised his surname is clit hero (e)) are two of the more sensible financial advice columnist.

      • Paul has a regular column in money magazine.

I've found it the best finacial advice magazine I have come accross so far. The digital editon is also great and more cost effective I agree! Thoough isn't for everyone. I find this magazine isn't full of BS add and actually offers practical advice unlike most other publications. Zino has single issues but they aren't free they are about $6 per issue I think.

  • I use to buy this. Now I get the digital copy for free each month:

  • It has always been $50 for subscription. Nothing new.

  • Normal subscriptions without having to sign up for a direct debit are actually $65, so $50 without any commitment is awesome! and the retail price is $87.45, so a massive saving.

    • Wow, they have increased their price for normal subscription. Used to be $50 :(
      Thanks for the clarification.
