What are the normal prices on these things?
    Is this a good deal?

    • +1

Looking at past deals here it seems like a good price.

  • +1

i have been through a few of these… seems likee they fail around the back where it sits in the strap.

    re-gluing helps.. but fails agn

    • +1

Yeah they fail pretty frequently .. but fitbit sends you a brand new one and you keep the old one.

  • Add the gear vr black for 45 (more than 10 avail) And one left of the s2 sport watch for approx 140 after discount

    • +1

      Added thanks.

  • Are they any good or just buy the Xiaomi Mi Band 2?

    • The Fitbit software and peer network is great. If you have mates with fitbits then go Fitbit.

    • +1

Xiaomi Band 2 has waterproofing, longer battery life (up to 25 days), interchanging bands and syncs with healthkit (iOS) or Google Fit. Also its half the price of a Fitbit.

      • Thanks bought Xiaomi Band 2 for $26 from eBay Shopping Square.

  • Don't forget "Samsung Galaxy Gear VR White Oculus Head Strap" for just $17.60
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-Galaxy-Gear-VR-White-Ocul…

    • Added thanks.

    • +1

Only head strap or complete vr

      • I'm just as curious too even though I bought it lol

    • Yeh .. i've just realised it says 'head strap'. Now I'm worried.

  • +1

Fyi the charge HR is not waterproof.

After 4…5? Replacements under 1 year warranty I was glad to see it go

  • -1

Was going to get the lightning dock, but then I read the reviews..

    • Not the best reviews and the RRP is $59-$75 depending on the colour.

      • Doubt you will find a better one for the price

        • I don't personally own an iPhone, but posted it up for people that has one and are considering the purchase.

        • @RichardL:
          Bought one thanks OP!

Anyone considering a Fitbit who is not using a Samsung or iPhone then be warned that your device probably isn't on their compatible device list.

Sure, it may work without issue but then again it might take forever to sync or all features wont' work or they'll release an app update and suddenly the thing stops working.

I might sound bitter, I have a Fitbit Blaze and a Moto Z and they won't support it. Lots of problems getting reliable sync and features like Notifications and Connected GPS tracking just don't work.

Fitbit haven't added any new phones to the compatible list for months, it seems like they are no longer testing and making modifications to ensure devices are compatible.

    You've been warned.

Oh shit, bought the lightning dock thinking it came with the cable attached. Now I got to buy a bloody cable for it as well.

    • +1

You could always use your existing cable.

      • I was thinking of using the dock at work and using my existing cable at home. I got a 3 year old iPhone 5s which needs charging twice a day :( Will have to buy a cable for the dock now as well.

  • +1

Garmin Vivoactive for $111 before discount is also good value

    • +1

yep $89- after discount, could not resist that

      • same!!!

    • Added, thanks.

  • good price

  • anyone rate the surge? good price but looks pretty old

    • There's only 1 left, if you are interested.

      EDIT: Gone

    • +1

Anyway you dodged a bullet the surge sux.

  • Any reviews on Huawei Talkband B2 Black Thanks

    • You could try going to past OzBargain Post here to read the reviews from other members.

  • @RichardL Thanks mate

  • Great way to clear stock well done Telstra

  • +3

Telstra eBay store has had some nice deals lately!

    • Any theories about why? Too much old stock?

      • Probably a tax thing… being EOFY and all

  • Missed out on the Huawei Talkband :(

    • Finally managed to grab a talkband, after missing out on previous deals. I know I will be disappointed with it, but for the moment I feel like I have achieved something. koalafied, if you work hard and stay vigilant, you too will be able to purchase a talkband in the future. Thanks OP.

      • Congrats on your purchase! I'll keep a look out for future deals, can't go wrong for that price though so I don't think you'll be disappointed :)

        • Yeah, I don't think I can even get a basic Casio watch for that price. I wanted the white one, but got the Black. The gold one looks too pretentious to me.

  • does anyone know how to find the model number for the sony earphones? it's not listed in the description it seems…

    • +1

      Looks like MDREX15AP

  • Don't buy the Colourband - looks okay but don't expect it to do what it advertises to do. If you just want it to tell the time, providing the lighting conditions suit, then you'll probably be happy. Almost.

  • +1

Anyone who missed the fitbits, who would like to try something similar, the Striiv tracker looks pretty damn good for $17.60 delivered (with code). http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/112426784574 - I'd post a deal, but there's only 8 left (and the code runs out pretty soon!).

  • Fitbit Flex Slate is also out of stock as a heads up.

  • Garmin Vivosmart still available for $44 before discount, small and large.

    • Don't expect the screen to look anything like they do in marketing material. Most of them are stuffed and you'll have to return it. I received two last time. Both were stuffed in arrival. Could barely decipher the text on the display.

      • Are you referring to the Garmin Vivaosmart or Vivoactive? Vivoactive video reviews make the screen look very appealing!
