  • great find mate

  • but where is the offer?

  • I see it on the Platinum Charge, not on my others.

    • Might be targeted, but I saw it on all my cards.

      • Targeted, as not on every card I have.

      • Not on any of the (4!) cards I have.

      • Got it on my Platinum charge too, but not on any others.

  • Thanks for the post, found the offer by logging on to my account - also could not see it on the connect page

    Anyway to game it?

      Tinder

Take three short trips and it will only cost you a few dollars after the $20 credit.

  • I got it on Platnium edge but not velocity escape :)

    • ditto, got it on my plat edge, but not on qantas discovery

  • I was traveling to U.K. Next month. Sad that my use there cannot be counted as eligible ride

  • Manual enrollment link?

  • On my platinum reserve but not on charge :(

  • only on my DJ card!thanks op

    From June 9th

Minimum fares will increase to $9 including the booking fee in Sydney. They'll jump to $7.50 in Melbourne and Brisbane while in Adelaide and Perth the new minimum will be $7.

    • I find GoCatch to be cheaper and use better quality cars than Uber.

    • Good spot. I was thinking that 3 x $6 trips would leave us on top, but I guess not anymore.

      • so you can get 3 rides for $2.50 in Melb

  • Anyone got a manual link?

  • +3

Nice find but would be hard for me to use and probably not worthwhile.

18 days to make 3 trips and I'll only be getting ~$7 a trip back.

I believe you can stack up with codes - if you are still a new uber user ;)

  • possible to go to the next house down the street?

    edit, minimum charge $7

    • +1

I was about to reply and say it was $6 in Melbourne, but they increased it to $7.50 last week. There goes that idea.

That said, I can never tell the difference on my statements between uber eats and uber transport, I wonder if they can…

  • Work with uber eats?

    • I wish

    • I think it can, since it only shows as Uber on your statement anyway.

  • got this, but much rather the bp $10 off $40.

    • Why not both?

      • To date still can't see it but it's probably exhausted by now anyway

        • Oh yea me too, I didn't get the BP offer on any of my accounts

  • got it on my platinum reserve but not westpac altitude black

  • got it on my platinum reserves, but not my platinum charges.

  • Doesn't look to be available on the Explorer card either.

  • Been targeted on my explorer, thanks OP!

Expiry too soon to be useful.

As a side note, in Perth I wish uber was fined for handing out "free uber" cards. There is a critical difference between "free uber" and "free first time uber". I consider it false advertising. They should train their staff to say the correct thing. And get the hell away from the busport entrance.

  • Has anyone had this work with Uber Eats?

    • +1

Ordered food yday on UberEATS and it came up on the statement as "Uber(Sydney)"
      I think it'll work

      • Did you get the usual email?

        • I wouldn't expect an email on the first spend

Hopefully I get an email after the third spend, that is when we get qualified for the offer
