    Latest 2017 designs.

Because in 2018 we will have forgotten all about them.

    • -7

True, but something else will come up. Maybe fidget cubes are next?

      • +4

Bill Cosby just announced the Fidget Stick….see how that goes.

        • +1

Lol beat me, and lol @ name

        • Dude, that is so very wrong.
          Have an upvote.

      • Nothing beats the fidget stick, luckily almost half of Australia already owns one.

      • fidget cubes have been around for quite a while now

    • +1

Probably because no one gave a shit about them in 2016.

    • +1

Because in 2018 we will have forgotten all about them.

My kids are already over the fad…

    • Also the shop's only been online for a month. So they can't exactly sell anything else :-/

      • According to a quick who is lookup it's hosted in Canada and registered with GoDaddy.. #MadeInAustralia?

    • dickiee! how are you mate.. at least you'll have the best nickname title even in 2018 … !

seriously though… cant believe the stuff they come up with to legitimize the ridiculous prices for these useless things… hahaha flatly told my kids no when they have asked for them … they can take other crap to school and lose those instead .. lol

      • Actually just my regular 'real life' nickname. But cheers haha.

        • yes i remember you mentioned that… doesn't make it any less impressive.. hahahaha

    • But…. I want the 2016 design! Oh wait…

  • price in title please

    • +1

They seem to range between $19 and $25 each

  • I thought the fad was already dead..

    • it is…

  • +8

You are a truly inspiring entrepreneur!!!

Good luck moving the box of 10,000 fidget spinners you imported from china @ $1 ea, and setup a website, just in time for them to be no longer in demand. You were nearly a millionaire… Missed it by that much.

    • -4

thank you Nostradamus for your insight.

  • I hate this fidget spinner and hero disc from WW.

  • +3

    Cheaper elsewhere.
    Your $11.97 vs Aliexpress $8.64
    Sorry, no bargain here

      • +1

Yes Amazon should if they solely sold fidget spinners only. As gimmebargains has found, can be found cheaper elsewhere.

        • -1

Im pretty sure every product sold in australia can be found cheaper elesewhere.

        • @rodgo: This is Ozbargain, cheapest goes not slightly cheaper because it's from Australia. Plus you imported these from where? We are basically paying a lot more for that when we can avoid that cost to just buy overseas.

        • -4

@watty: If only the world had the same mindset as Ozbargain it would be a better place

        • +2

          @rodgo:

I'm gonna use that as my entry for the T-Shirt competition, thanks for the idea!

        • @rodgo: Your sarcasm isn't helping your case here. Let's all have the mindset of "buy something in bulk cheap from China then resell them here for a highly inflated price because let's pay the middle man". What are you trying to achieve here?

        • -4

@watty: Im not here to plead my case because the one things i have learnt from being a member of Ozbargain for so many years is this. For every member who takes the time to leave a negative comment or say nothing positive another 5 members say nothing and just buy the deal.

Who says everything from china is cheap? who says i purchased products off the shelf without spending time or money on QC or components to make the product the best it can be? Who says that the kids that have my product want more and the kids stuck with the $2 version from the reject shop or aliexpress are making sure they get a new one from mum & dad.

More talk, happier you make me.

          thanks

        • +2

@rodgo: Well to leave a negative comment I like to say why (also being a requirement), otherwise there's no progression to be made to the discussion of the deal nor am I contributing to the community. Mate I'm not here to make you sad, your happiness or sadness has nothing to do with my criticism of the deal. Perhaps it is a good deal but I can't justify dropping $10-$15 on a toy that I personally can purchase elsewhere at a lower price. No point of continuing this discussion I feel there's really no point - good luck with your post. Cheers

  • +3

Found these at my local shops for $5 - $10. Good luck mate.

  • -8

The market already got flooded with the cheap rubbish from china and the kids got bored and sick of them breaking. Now phase 2 has begun which involves a little design and quality control.

    • +3

The manufacturers from China has been telling me the same line for years!

    • +2

      Where are these manufactured?

    • +2

Which countries are these spinners made in?

  • I even saw big w in act selling them foe $7

  • +1

    wtf is a fidget spinner?

    • They look like those ninja throwing stars. I don't understand kids.

      • what does it do?

        • I have no idea. I assume they spin.

        • I think it was developed for kids and people with ADHD or something. Helped them a lot.

Other kids saw it and liked them. People are now making their own designs etc. Fad grew from there.

    • +2

A revolutionary device which is made up of a bearing and a piece of plastic. It spins its way through the air as it lands in the trash.

  • I don't know why this is sold everywhere now. Kids love this?

    • -2

Yes kids love them but you can see by the reaction of parents they dont :)

      • +1

luckily my daughter is only 7 months old.

        • -2

wait till you hit up the toy shops as she grows. Whatever they want they get :)

  • I think it's a reasonable idea to have a cheaper-than-the-shops local distributor. Someone who can deliver locally in a matter of days.

My kids tried to save some money by buying a fancier looking spinner like these online from Chine.. for $8 vs $18 in the shops. 4 weeks later they're probably wishing they spent the extra money..

    Good luck with the setup.
And yes there's a big difference in the basic ones vs these shinier ones.

    notassociated

    • +3

Thanks for the feedback. Pity the kids went down the china path. Email me address and model and i will send them a few replacement ones that will go the distance.

      [email protected]

      thanks

  • +1

I can tell the fad has died because my daughter has stopped asking me about the ones I ordered from China a few weeks ago :P (still not arrived)

    • -1

The kids just got sick of the cheap plastic ones. As soon as the nice new alloy ones hit the market things will fire back up.

    • -1

PM me and ill hook your daughter up

  • Few things,
1 price, not a bargain what so ever.
2 your page takes >30 seconds to load. May need to check that out

    • -1

Thanks for point 2. Cant find any faults and 2 seconds to load at my end. Ill keep an eye on it.

  • Nah sorry chief no deal.

  • cant believe this guy actually imported a bunch of these from alibaba, by the time they arrived the fad is over..

  • I hope you didnt bother to register that domain for more than 3 months…

  • +3

Same as others above. It doesn't take a detailed google search to come up with a lot of other "Australian" stock retailers selling these for less. If no Ali, how about eBay? Fishpond? Even the local rip off cigarette shop is cheaper. Now, if they were "made" in Australia, I would be impressed. But I am sure kids don't care that these have un-obtanuim metal bearings.

Also, seeing OP's attitude to people in this post, I believe that if any issue arises in the transaction that the consumer would be treated exactly the same. I may have been persuaded to buy from this site to at least support an Aussie business if it wasn't for OP's comments so far.

    • -1

Other Australian retailers selling the same quality and designs for less then this deal? please feel free to send me some links. My attitude has been just fine, apologies if you have taken it the wrong way. If you read above i even offered to send a member free spinners for his kids to keep them happy.

Kids do care about the quality of the spinners and thats why the fad of the plastic models has died so quickly. Let me explain we normally follow trends from overseas. The first major market was USA for spinners and after the kids got bored with the cheap plastic spinners they turned to the new higher quality alloy models. Australia got flooded with the cheap plastic models as the factories in china made so many pieces for the American market they had too dump them and no better place then Australia. That why you see these cheap plastic models being sold so cheap wholesale and even retail.

You can say what you want but i have taken an existing product and made it better not to keep the adults or ozbargain members happy but the kids who will and are already demanding the cool design that the other kids have in the school yard. You can be the parent who refuses to buy a spinner for your child or the person who thinks these are a ridiculous product but either way the kids will continue to drive the sales of spinners for sometime.

If you want to buy for your child from aliexpress and wait 10 weeks or buy from the reject shop for $2 thats fine but in the mean time for the sake of a few $ its the kid that misses out.

Happy to give way some samples to parents with kids who missed out. PM me.

      • Kids don't care. Source: I have kids, brother has kids, have cousins with kids and I work in a school, so believe me when I say, kids don't care. I work in an engineering workshop and I don't even care about what bearings they have. We have even made some of these on our CNC machines at work with tungsten weights and they still cost less.

Love when people compare aliexpress to local product.

They are NOT a local product. The point is, you buy them in from China en-masse and then complain when people on here compare them to what you are doing yourself. Why buy off you when I can go to your same source and save 50% or so? You are not an "Australian" retailer, you are just a middleman markup. All you are doing is buying up existing designs and stock for simple resale.

The other thing is, your attitude towards other users on this forum is disgraceful. Even in your deal post, you have a passive aggressive jab at people. Why should I buy from someone who openly admits that we can get them from China for much cheaper and tries to shame people into buying off them to be more supportive of "Australian business" NO! If you are buying them from China and adding a massive markup, then so shall I.

How about you take some of your own advice and contact some Aussie workshops and get a bulk load of these things made up at a repitition engineering workshop. Come up with your own designs and submit them. Why don't YOU support some Aussies. You would be surprised at how much you could get these things made for here at the right quantities.

And I will continue to wait "10 weeks" for my fidget spinners because I survived 40+ years without them. I don't know how I survived without them. I hope my kids can learn some great life lessons while they wait… until then, they can have those garbage 3D printed ones I make at work…

You can be the parent who refuses to buy a spinner for your child

Oh, and that old chestnut… the "think of the children" heart string puller. Yeah, play that "you're not a good parent if you only buy Big W spinners." rhetoric.

  • "The best"? Says who?

    • -2

      Stephen Hawking

  • Actually I've been trying to find that 6 spoke silver one (MFS3) lately, so its good that you're selling them. I prefer to give my money to an Australian Company anyways. I think most people think all spinners are the same, but unfortunately it boils down to the build quality and bearings

    • Thanks, i have ensured the quality is second to none from what i have seen in Australia. Look forward to your order.

      thanks

      • +1

Yep already put my order in a while ago (1001). Yeah quality is everything and makes a huge difference. My son "won" one yesterday and it was an el-cheap common plastic tri spinner (probably one of those $4 ones from a pop up store). I took the caps off and couldn't believe the rubbish small bearings inside - complete junk! Would be interesting to see how long his spinner will last. Oh well, he can borrow mine when I'm not using it ;)

  • You might wanna lower the price OP. At this price I think I can resist. And how much better in quality is this one than the ones from China?

    • -1

I havnt set the price in stone yet. What price point are you thinking? These are much more wholesale then the plastic ones are retail.

Custom packaging, Quality Control, R188 Bearings, Lasered logo. All adds up :)

      • Just realised that these are branded so its possible that there not just selling spinners from China. 7 to 13 should be rrp

    • +1

I'll let you know when I get mine :) ….. seriously the ones from China can be pretty bad …. the problem is the pictures make it look OK, but when you finally get it, its made cheap using cheap materials, rubbish bearings that don't last long and very bad workmanship. The original spinners from the US and Europe are really expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. As with anything from China, they copy the original design but cut a lot of corners to sell it in bulk … they become disposible toys like what you get from Happy Meals from McD

      • Thanks keep me updated how this one compares to the ones from china

        • +1

Definitely … I've tried a few designs, so I can compare. We really should be supporting Aussie Companies like this … it sounds like he has actually put in effort to make a quality product to sell at a reasonable price

        • You can read my review on their website:
          https://myfidgetspinner.com.au/products/mfs-3

I wouldn't mind trying out some of their other spinners as well.

  • +1

For ozbargainers, a spinner is a spinner.

If you have a quality premium product, this is the wrong place to advertise.

  • +2

I'm sick of the cheap plastic ones that all fall apart. Have ordered and happy to pay $11.97 instead of $9 and waiting a month. Good luck to you, hope it all goes well…

    • So spot on! 100% agree!
