Looking at that thumbnail, I thought it was a VR headset.

    • i was like, wow Logitech VR

      • I would sooooooooo buy that.

Ah… I see the photo has changed. Yup. Looks more like a mouse now.

  • Showing as $128?

    Here's the actual officeworks link
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/232083816849

    • Thanks, have updated.

  • Which one is better? Mx master or mx master 2s? 2s is the new model?

    • +1

The 2S will be better but it isn't available yet.

      • I thought this was the 2S as it said NEW in the title :( Is the New bit redundant then? Since this is from Officeworks eBay? Or is there another feature that's new?

        • I just saw that then, seems like a power user edited it when it was the good guys link. It's the same product as other stores, no new features but just a lower price.

    • What has changed with the 2S?

      • +1

longer battery 70 days vs 40 days apparently
Has support for Logitech Flow - basically like Synergy and moving mouse between 3 OSs, not sure if you need a keyboard with the same support but it wouldn't make sense if the keyboard didnt work either.

        Has the same form factor.

That's all I know. I think the this MX master is worth it and not bother with the new 2S. You can still get a free copy of Synergy from here It says Mac Apps but once you get the licence you can install a copy for Windows and use the same key.

        • "Longer battery 70 days vs 40 days apparently".

I think both claims are somewhat exaggerated.

I've used a Master mouse for around two years, and under constant usage - 10-12 hours a day - I get 2-3 days battery life.

  • such good timing, finally worked up the courage to pull the trigger and buy it at JB Hifi. Replace my existing MX Master where the wheel no longer free scrool after dropping it off the couch twice. Pitty that's that only part broken and the most important part in my view

  • Hi All,

I have great things about this mouse and trust the OZB community. Does anyone recommend a keyboard to go with this mouse?
I have just got a new PC set-up at home and looking for a reliable KB + Mouse. I am not a gamer, just using my computer for general everyday use.

I was considering the Logitech MK710 combo before this mouse. Does anyone think that its worth to get the MX MAsster + KB seperately? Or is it better to just get the MK710 combo?

    Thanks!

    • The K810 keyboard is meant to be excellent.

    • Or the Logitech K800 keyboard if you want a more traditional full-sized keyboard.

I'rve used one for a couple of years now - 10-12 hours a day, and it still looks and performs like new!

  • Seems to be out of stock for me?

    • Yeah it will most likely be their restocking feature which doesn't update for about every 15-30 minutes. I'll mark expired until then.

Is there a decent mouse for office use around the $30-40 mark?

  • Great mouse, totally recommend it. I use mine at work everyday. Trying to decide if I should buy another one for home…

  • I was looking at a mouse for my MBP and this mouse seems to have a number of issues with Sierra.

  • For some reason I get an error that says "Operation time out, please try again in a few minutes" and doesn't let me do anything else, anyone else getting this issue?

  • Just bought another at 15%. Will return the 10% one on the spot when I pick up. I had a feeling it was going to happen

    • I called earlier hoping to cancel my order as I did the same thing, thinking it hasn't shipped yet. But I was told it can't be done once the orders have reached a certain stage. So I would have to book a return after receiving it.

I believe with ebay/paypal purchases, they can only refund via ebay/courier pickup, retail stores only give vouchers. At least that what I was told dealing with them in the past. Correct me if I am wrong.

      • On their page it says
If a refund is required for your eBay purchase, the amount of the refund will be provided to you on an Officeworks gift card. (Paypal orders can only be refunded to your paypal account if a pickup is organised from your delivery address.)

So not sure really. As it sounds stupid that refund to paypal is only possible if a pick up is organised.

      • I sent an email in ebay to refund an order….and the stupid person refunded me the 2nd order … as in the order that had the 15% off discount…. arghhhhhhh. And I definitely sent the email in regards to the first order number.

  • PSA: Apparently this mouse has no inbuilt setting to turn off mouse acceleration so not so good for gaming apparently.

  • Such unparalleled ugliness

    Good mouse though
    Good price
