  They are braided and very solid - so far all are still working and none have stopped working with iOS updates etc.

    They're not genuine MFI, don't work with battery case. Seller confirmed they won't work.

      Oh okay. Don't use such cases so don't really care.
      
      As far as third party cables go they have worked the best and haven't failed.
      
      Disappointing they aren't MFI, but I didn't have high hopes anyway buying from eBay.
