SS you need to get your act together, only need to look at their recent deals. I don't think anyone has got their Xiaomi IP camera.
How many people out of the 700 orders didn't receive their camera?
Pointless and I don't know, check the thread and run a poll if that interested. I am only letting people know, and I myself am among those who haven't received the camera which we paid for months ago.
Months? Was it this deal from 6 weeks ago? People have commented that they received their cameras… so is it SS's fault or the postal service?
I'm still waiting for my Digoo camera from banggood which was posted about a month ago. I've had packages from HK/China arrive within 2 weeks, some have taken 1.5 months. Point being, if you want a cheap product with free shipping, you need to be prepared to wait for it - that's life. Postal delays aren't uncommon.
If you want it right away, buy it from a local seller at full price, or buy from an overseas seller that can use a courier. You're paying peanuts, don't expect top-shelf shipping.

I agree with negative comments above about Shopping Square eBay store. Purchased and paid for a Phantom 3 on 14 June during the eBay sale. Have been messaging them for days without getting a definite date for shipment or any response regarding cancelling order. Then told yesterday cancellation is not possible as item is now being "dispatched", strangely enough, by Zapals. However there is still no dispatch notice today. Most unreliable seller, I would certainly not buy anything else from them.
Is it from this listing? The post above says ETA is 2-3 weeks. It has only been 9 days?
I missed the ETA from the original post but the eBay listing referred to 5-7 days before dispatch and showed expected delivery between 23-28 June. It is very disappointing that this seller did not respond to my messages with a clarification.
Ahh ok. Well.. after getting countless good deals here, I've come to realize that most of the time, I have to choose between cheap deals or good customer service. A business could hire more people to answer queries more promptly, but that would just drive prices up.
So when I pay little money for something, I adjust my expectations accordingly. With large deals like the ones we've had recently, I buy items with the expectation that the large influx of orders would result in a delay.
In an ideal world we'd get cheap deals and good customer service. That does happen here once in a while (check out the Computer Alliance threads where the GM himself participates), but realistically most of the time, I think something has to give.
Quite true, just hoping that there would be no need for warranty service and will be far more careful buying from Shopping Square in future.
