Might be a bit last minute for this ebay deal, but picked up a LG 7.0kw split system air conditioner for $1267 delivered to Brisbane plus a $200 cash card via redemption from LG. Seemed to be a good $200-300 cheaper than any of the other brands that I looked at (Panasonic/Mitsu Elec/Mitsu Heavy Industry/Daikin/Fujitsu).

Only a few left in stock, 4 at time of posting. Seems to retail for $1890-2100 from JB Hifi and Appliances Online.
