Logitech G403 Prodigy Mouse, Wireless @ Bing Lee eBay for $75.65

Hi guys.

Been eyeing the G403 wireless for a while now and this is so far the cheapest it's gotten to. Original discounted price of $89 is already cheaper than MSY, and now with the 15% off it's down to $75.65.

Just picked mine up at my local Bing Lee. Just double check the product as they confused the wired version with the wireless (barcode labelled wrongly). They apologetically replaced it with the wireless version and all is well.

Prices may go down even more soon with the release of Logitech's new range of wireless charging mouses (G703 which replaces the G403, and G903 which replaces the G900) but I don't see myself buying a $100+ charging mouse pad so I'm happy with my current purchase.

Edit: I should also mention a number of their Logitech products are already some of the lowest prices around. I also picked up a K400 Plus keyboard, G610 Orion Cherry Brown keyboard and Z213 2.1 speakers and they were the cheapest I could find too. Happy shppping!

A decent looking mouse without the tacky "gamer" styling. The wired version is still 47 at Harveynormans, wireless is only rated as 30 hrs battery life. less than 24 if we are being realistic.

  • What are wireless mice like for PC gaming these days? I was always under the impression that wired was recommended?

Some mice such as the G900 are no different to wired (OK still 1ms delay but for all intents and purposes…).

I do not know about this specific mouse though.

      • I've got this mouse and it's great. No frills (the G900 is nice, but expensive if you're not a pro gamer), nice and tactile, though I can't speak for the battery life as I've used it for less than 30 hours.

      • G403 uses the same sensor as the G900!

I've been using a Microsoft wireless mouse for a good 4 years and it's still going strong. I used it for gaming too and have not experienced any latency issues. Only annoyance is when the battery goes flat (it used AA batteries) but this only happened once every half a year or so, and only ever takes 10 seconds to replace!

  • Got the G402 and besides the middle mouse button, it's excellent. Sub $50 at many places. Fully customizable and it has extra buttons easily accessible with your thumb or index finger.
