      Thanks for the post, OP.

The OP isn't whinging, but there's no point listing every single item on Dan's ebay site because it's $20 off…

Great beers for great price! Thanks!

  • The deal here at Dans Ebay at the moment is GUINESS. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/302267457755

Carton for $49.90. Currently $69 at First Choice.

Buy 2 + something small to get you over $100 equals $40 per carton.

if you're patient I recommend cellaring a couple of 6-packs or a case of Sparkling Ale, its really great with a few years on it (notice the "Best After" dates on the bottle).

my brother and I found a carton we'd forgotten about when we were moving house - had 2 years on it then and the remaining four bottles are 6 years old now and have become a bit of a special occasions only thing. Last tried 6 months ago and tasted great.

    • How does it change? Smoother?

      • +1

yep, that's the main difference. Takes away some of the bite and opens up the malt flavours nicely.

6 years is probably overkill, I'm unlikely to let any survive that long in the future :p - I'd highly recommend leaving them for at least 6 months after the "Best After" date though for sure.

        • I'll have to hide some!

As it is a naturally brewed ale it's the secondary ferment in the bottle that helps it age & develop those flavours.
Store it like wine somewhere dark and cool. I was luckly enough to have tasted Sparkling Ale that was 10yrs old.
You can also age their Stout 2yrs is best and Vintage.
some venues serve Aged Sparkling on tap :)

and don't forget to invert (or roll if you must)

hey that count20 deal at dan murphys on ebay is totally wicked ………. ive ordered 4 bottles of ruskov vodka twice using this code on ebay so ends up as 8 bottles for $183.92 or $22.99 per bottle using pickup at my local dan murphys ..

the count20 deal promo works multiple times…… enjoy …….stock up now.

    • Great deal! FYI - as per the T&C's the code can be used up to two times per person. I can verify it did not work more than two times for me.
