Does Antler have the same terrible warranty as Samsonite? I saw "The Checkout" piece they did and I will never buy Samsonite.

I would say almost all luggage brands warranty policy is more or less the same, limited 10 year warranty that only covers manufacturing defect. To be honest, I wouldn't expect a warranty that covers all kind of damage from a sub 200 dollar bag..even rimowa bags that cost more than a grand does not have a warranty policy that covers damage from usage.
Anyway, if you don't mind spending close to $800 for a heavy check-in aluminium case with a decent warranty, do check out hartmann.

It was a generous policy, certain group people abused the system now it's gone.
