Thank you for being part of the ebay sales. Finally a music store that participates in the deal!

Unfortunately you can't sell BOSS Katana amps on ebay (rep PMd me on ebay when I asked), otherwise I would have jumped in!

    • Sorry about that. PM me and I will give you a killer price on the Katana anyway :)

personally I think the Orange Micro Terror and OR15 are your best deals.

plus its a great time to load up on guitar strings.

    • Yes the Orange Amplification deals are already very competitive even before the 20% off :)
The JBL/KRK/Cerwin Vega Monitor / Speaker deals are very cheap also after the 20%, But so is our guitar range, Amps & FX, Electronic Drumkits & Midi Controllers, Digital Piano's and Keyboards and the list goes on… Our staff actually can't believe alot of these deals at the moment! :)
Cheers Guys - PM me if you have any questions.

Thank you for not price jacking.. keep it up! Bought some stuff from last 20% off sale and happy to keep supporting you guys. Definitely some REAL bargains here.

    • +20 for not price jacking as well. Bought from your last 20% eBay promo as well and looking at some more stuff as well :)

  • Great service from these guys. Had a warranty problem and it was fixed with no problems. Highly recommend them.

  • Do you stock any other brands of effects aside from MXR? Specifically Digitech? I'm looking for a Digitech FreqOut unit.

    No VOX AC10?

Killer prices though. If anyone wants cymbals, the Zildjian A pack is a super deal at $836.

    • Hello sir,
PM me in regards to the AC10.
      Cheers

  • This comes at the right time for me. Any suggestions for a good beginner acoustic guitar in the $300 to $400 range?

Of course - I would suggest the following sold top mahogany guitar which is at a great price also:

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RRP-499-LAG-Tramontane-T90D-Solid…

and this is an especially good deal too:

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RRP-829-IBANEZ-AVD1-NT-ARTWOOD-SO…

But any of the following are also suitable:

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Epiphone-PRO1-Plus-Acoustic-Guita…

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RRP-349-Takamine-D1NNS-NEX-Grand-…

PM me if you would like more options.
      Cheers

      Do you need electronics?

I'd recommend something with a solid top with no electronics in that price bracket. You can always buy a pickup later down the line.

      Something like this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RRP-599-Takamine-GD51NAT-Dreadnou…

For acoustics around your price range the only brands I'd consider buying sight unseen are: Takamine, Seagull or Yamaha. There are some other brands like Cort, Ibanez or Lag that I'd recommend trying out but I wouldn't buy them online (unless you can return them easily or they're significantly cheaper than the above brands mentioned).

That's just my opinion, I've bought a few guitars and such online that I really wish I had played first. If you're a beginner it's probably less of an issue as the main thing you want is it to be playable and sound decent (which Ibanez, Cort and Lag will all deliver with no issues but Yamaha and Takamine are probably a safer bet plus generally have better resale value).

      • Thanks for your suggestion! Don't exactly need a pickup. I'd much rather get a good sounding guitar than something that's got it all.

I was mainly looking at the Ibanez AVD1 as a friend (who swears by Ibanez) suggested that. Its also a pretty sweet price.

        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RRP-829-IBANEZ-AVD1-NT-ARTWOOD-SO…

I've narrowed it between your suggestion of Takamine GD51 and the Ibanez AVD1. Would've loved to get the Takamine GD30CE with the pickup, but its slightly over my budget

        • Nothing wrong with Ibanez as a whole, I just find their acoustics to be lacking in sound compared to other acoustic oriented brands like Takamine or Yamaha (although that is pretty subjective). Their build quality is generally fantastic, so you shouldn't have any issues there.

That particular model has the body join with the neck at the 12th fret which will make it pretty annoying to play at the 10th fret and up. If you've played a classical guitar before you'll know what I mean. It also has a pretty flat fingerboard (15" radius) which I find uncomfortable when playing chords (the Tak is a more standard 12").

If those things don't bother you I'd recommend it. Keep in mind if you ever have to sell the Ibanez I'd imagine you'd have a harder time than the Tak as those things I mentioned would turn a few people off.

  • Hey Gibsonluva, thanks for an awesome sale! Shame I missed your ad by two days, just bought a Vox amp. Is there any chance you have an Ibanez Gio GRX70QA in the TKS (transparent black) colour scheme? Am about to pull trigger with local music shop.
