I have 3 x Vaya services which I've had for years, and while there have been a couple of minor issues in that time I have been pretty happy (although I am well aware of the negative commentary about Vaya from others). BUT I am looking to port out to the Kogan 10Gb 365 day offer ($254.34). I would stay with Vaya if I could take their 6 month/12 month discounted offers. Yes, the XL plan is slightly more expensive than Kogan but for me it would be less hassle to stay with Vaya. I have a teenager constantly breaching his data cap so I NEED to change to a bigger plan, but the existing upgrade option just doesn't make sense. If I port out, provided Kogan keeps giving some sort of recharge option in the future it is unlikely I will return to Vaya, so I don't really understand why they don't provide more incentives to retain existing customers. Why would I upgrade to a 10Gb $33pm plan when it is being offered to new starters for $23.17pm, especially when I can port to Kogan and pay $20.90 pm?! Ian - any comment?

    • When you port out, make sure you get your $20 security deposit back as well as pro-rata refund for your final part month (in which you paid in advance).

Don't touch Vaya they are terrible. Fine if things are fine, not fine otherwise.

  • Kogan still comes out cheaper. More so with discounted gift cards, qantas and velocity points and referral.

  • How about bringing back your "winter" promo which was supposed to end 30th June but ended up ending a week after posting back in May. I got caught out with a reminder i set in early June to sign up and got caught with the early expiration :(

  • Do Vaya offer the Optus 4G Plus speeds as part of their service?
