Decent price for this camera, it says $50 cashback in cart but pretty sure it' $100 looking at Sony terms below :)

        Nope they wouldn't budge, they said that it had to specifically say on the web page item that it was part of the 10% gift card promotion in order for it to be eligible for the gift cards. They said only the cash back promotion was the listed promotion for that camera. If you ask me it was extremely misleading.

        @jazzymc: Agreed - I'm sure they'll refuse my request too. Shame, I bought it based on the assumption of receiving HN gift card..

        @2wheels: well, i called my local HN yesterday asking about it as im yet to even pickup the camera (still in NZ) and he said he would look into it, then i got an email saying 'yea all good, you will get your GC of $71- when you pickup your items'
        so will find out in a few days. bad form on their half not even replying
