  • Do Ipads have global apple warranty?I seem to remember reading somewhere that iphones are not covered but ipads are.

    • Yep iPads have a 1 year worldwide warranty. The only product in the line that doesn't is the iPhone.

      • Except it won't be covered by Australia consumer law.

Anyone know if we can purchase Apple Care for grey import?

        • +3

Yes you can. You may need to call AppleCare in Australia to purchase and register (had to do this with my iPhone).

        • I'm not sure if it would or would not be covered under consumer law. It's through eBay Australia and Vaya is registered here so it might…

      • how about the 3g/4g version ?

  • I have been eying out the 10.5 Pro 256gb cellular model in space grey. Pity they haven't got this model at present. I have already ordered some clear tpu cases from China, but still need to buy an overpriced Smart Cover. I find the clear tpu case and Apple Smart Cover the best combination in protection, usability and keeping the overall weight down..

      • Yep that's it. Thanks. Works out to be about 12.8% below RRP which is pretty good for being early days since model release. I normally try to get at least 20% off RRP for iPads and other Apple products. Just going to think about pulling the trigger now

This tablet has the best screen, camera, cpu and speakers in the world of tablets and just got released recently and is heavily discounted

Sorry but look at the feedback for the seller. Dodgy as hell.

    • +1

Didn't see that..From the comments I read on here about Vaya there were positive experiences. Worthy neg.

    • This, any ebayer under 98% isn't worth looking at imo.

To be fair, 90% of the bad reviews says they sold an item that ran out of stock but promptly refunded. To me, it's not that bad. Sure it sucks to not get the sale u think u bought, but ur at no loss.

    • Not that bad, they refund you the full amount. Who cares about that?

  • The odd thing here is that the 64gb is selling for the retail price yet the 256 is inflated and goes even higher based on the colour you pick
is this some form of bigoted discrimination?

  • anyone know whether we need pay import tax after 1 Jul this year

    • +2

Nope, that bill got delayed for another year, only the netflix tax will be active at 1 July.

      • Thanks Cheers

  • would anyone hesitate to buy it from a seller with lots of bad feedbacks?

    • +1

Bad feedbacks exist for a reason, in much the same way as product reviews do. Buying from a seller with lots of bad feedbacks is synonymous with a child sticking his/her fingers in fire even after being warned about the outcome.

Grey import but no Space Grey available in 64GB models.

Any one had experience on buying from vaya or other stores whre the price is over $1000? Is GST payable, as it is over the $1000 limit, or has Vaya paid that?

I know the GST deal has been delayed, but that was for items under $1000

    • +2

I bought a mac book pro recently from Vaya and haven't had to pay tax.

      • over $1000?

        • +2

          Name one macbook <1k?

        • @kingmw:
my bad I didnt read it properly assumed it was ipad

  • The quoted delivery time is around 4 weeks. Is that accurate or will it be quicker ?

  • It's a shame that they don't have the 64gb model in space grey otherwise I would have been all over this! Anyone know whether other sellers like Good Guys and Target sell the new iPad Pro's via their eBay stores? Don't mind if I have to wait a month or two? eBay has been pretty regular in putting out 20% discount codes so I'm hoping that in a couple of months time there will be more sellers to pick from for the iPad Pro's

    • +1

I assume it's going to be end of financial year deals, I doubt they will continuously put out 20% deals. Hope I'm wrong.
Still I pulled the trigger on this

  • +1

I'm very happy with their service, got mine just 7 days!

  • If anyone would like to sell theirs for a similar price, let me know. Thanks

    • You can now get them for the same prices by using the new code "PLAYING".
