  • Great deal, love tempur pillows… I'm using tempur mattress and its the best. Highly recommended brand.

    • just because you can't/don't want to spend $430 on some good pillows, means it sucks.

    • +1

Once you sleep on these pillows you wouldn't go back to the normal one anymore. Try and see the difference.

  • +1

wow thats quite expensive for pillows! I don't really get any sleeping problems with my cheapy ass pillows but i need some new ones (theyre getting really disgusting). Any ideas guys?

  • +2

    438 each?

    holy crap

    • Can't read? Holy crap.

      "I got 4 “Symphony” pillows for $438"

      • +3

        still…100$ for a pillow o.o

438$ on pillows? My bed cost 1000$ lol

        • -2

You can get $10,000 matresses which would crap all over your $1000 one. Just like these $110 pillows crap on your $10 Reject shop pillows.

          • @lazed: And your somehow surprised with the notion that a mattress costing 10x another will somehow be better…. ? It would want to make me coffee and itself for that price :-)

            • @timjohns: whoever hasn't done a bed diving with a tempur mattress, automatically revokes themselves from the right to talk crap about it. ;)

it's like in saying a bugatti is a shit car because it costs 10000x more than a toyota and have never heard/driven in one.

      • thought that too but the receipt threw me off.

Thanks for being a little girl about it :)

        • Sure, next time I won't bother correcting you so you can forever live your life missing out on deals because you fail to interpret the posts.

  • $100 for a pillow! lol!

  • +13

can the people who dont appreciate something just piss off?

LOL WTF MOUSE FOR $60?!?!?! STUPID!!1 BALL MOUSE IS $5!!11!!

For someone that wants these pillows its 50% off which is pretty good in anyone's book.

Considering you spend more time on these pillows than pretty much anything you own, it doesn't seem outrageous.

    • +1

i wasn't meaning to troll. i was just amazed that pillows could cost $200+ each.

  • Thanks OP. I'm not in the market, after getting a nice memory foam pillow recently, but I don't imagine these would go on sale very often. I would personally love a 2 for 1 on technogel pillows. Those things are awesome, but I would expect so at $250 each.

The worst pillows in the world are from Target. I bought some moderately priced ones (like $25 each) and they went all twisted and mangled and lumpy. They were complete and utter poo. Bad for your wallet and the environment.

I guess if you added up how much you'd spend on crappy pillows over the years these begin to look like better value. You'd want some serious pillow protectors on them though, it seems no matter what you do, pillows always end up manky.

    • I bought some good pillows from Target. I got a 2-for-the-price-of-1 deal on their latex pillows (worked out to be $25 each). That was over a year ago and we are still really happy with them.

  • These are normally around $200 each! This is a huge bargain!

  • I'm not sure if you can call a pillow for $100 a bargain. What are they made of and what makes them better than your average $25 two-pack?

    • Try it your self and you can then tell the difference. Its NASA approved :) Just some words on tempur (wiki quote) for the people who would otherwise crapping this deal

TEMPUR material was originally based on NASA’s research[6] to develop a material that would cushion aircraft seats and improve survivability in the event of an accident.[7]
NASA acknowledged Tempur-Pedic on May 6, 1998 for utilizing space technology in their products.

Soon after the NASA Press Conference, Tempur-Pedic was licensed by the Space Foundation to use the official “Certified Technology” seals on their products and advertisements. NASA’s “Certified Space Technology” initiative is committed to broadening awareness, understanding, and support for the important role that space exploration plays in the everyday lives of Americans.[9]

Mattresses made of TEMPUR material have earned the Good Housekeeping Seal[10], were awarded a Consumer’s Digest “best buy” as well as an Ease-of-Use Commendation from the Arthritis Foundation.[11]

Overall, Tempur-Pedic mattresses are three times less likely than a traditional spring mattress to suffer from sagging or other durability issues. [13]

    • There is no way you can compare the two :)

The support you get from a decent pillow compared to a crappy $25 two pack is huge.
I'm not referring just to tempur here, but in general you usually get what you pay for with pillows i've found.

Hi had a look at the website. Is this made of memory foam or some other material. I have very bad neck and shoulder pain and got a cheap memory foam pillow that has helped. To go through a day painfree I would spend $500. People all have different preferences of what they are prepared to pay for things, like I would never fork out money for an expensive mobile but would pay this much if it meant a good sleep. So I think it is a useful deal and well worth posting thankyou.

  • How about the one from COTD last Saturday? They had memory foam ones? Are they the same?

    • +1

Hard to say without physically comparing the two - chances are they aren't in the same league.
They may be too soft compared to the tempur ones (and might not last as long)

    • I don't know why someone neg'd your comment ihuangyu as it was valid. I too am interested in how a pillow like this compares.
Having had neck and back problems I'm willing to jump in any buy one if it can help.

I paid like $4K for my tempur mattress (king size) - it's the best. Sure it may seem expensive to some, but it lasts 30 years and is super comfortable and supportive. Small price to pay to not have a bad back etc.

The pillows are pretty expensive too, this is a really good deal as it obviously makes them much more affordable.

    Nice one op!

  • I don't think that the size of the discount (50%) really tells us whether or not this is a bargain.

For me, this is not a bargain. $110 for a pillow (even a tempur pillow) is too expensive. I don't really think you're getting $110 worth of pillow here…. $50 or $60, maybe… but you are also paying for the tempur brand, in my opinion.

Having said that, it is all very subjective… others might think that these pillows are extremely comfortable and well worth $200.. even $300 per pillow !! so for those people, this is a bargain.

  • I bought a pillow for $120 (different brand though) and it's so good. It's worth it for me because my shoulder is always sore because I have neck issues. This is a really good deal

  • Thanks for posting this. I just purchased 2 pillows. This is a good bargain for great pillows.

  • how long will this pillow last before replacing usually?

  • ordered 2 over the weekend, they ran out of stock

  • This is a fantastic deal!!

Some people have hinted at this, but I will spell it out for you… For those that buy a cheaper $25 pillow, it may last 1 year even two years if you are really lucky, but you will put up with it being so "manky", as someone put it, for the last 6 months of that 1-2yrs, and then finally fork out another $30-$50 for another pillow that will do the same thing for another 1-2yrs… After a period of 10-15yrs, you would have spent about $200-$300 on pillows. A Tempur pillow at Half price (which comes to around $110-$150) will last you minimum 15yrs with none of the 6 months of pain (length of time would depend on your desires to replace your pillow) you would put up with for a cheaper quality pillow every time you need to purchase a new one over the same period of time… So it actually works out cheaper and better for you to buy a better quality pillow… As someone also eluded too, you spend a 3rd of your life in bed, so you're just selling yourself short…

    Cheaper pillows = $200-$300 over 10-15yrs
Tempur or equivalent quality pillow = $150 over 15yrs

    Simple equation to me :)

But that's logic. People here just see the price and think "that's bullsh*t for a pillow. Target/Big W/K-Mart have 2 for like $30".

      I agree with you BTW.

  • I've bitten this as well. Ironic that I was at a FortyWinks store on the weekend trying this out and commented just how wonderful these pillows were. I had a chance to rest for a pretty long time on the pillow and I felt the strain on my neck just go away.

At 50% off, time to buy. No matter how good they are, I wouldn't pay full price for them though… .

    • +2

I’ve bitten this as well. :o

Dude, you might just wanna clarify that statement on a thread about pillows! :p

  • +2

Thanks Great deal! All the girls are on me because i got this pillow.

      Wake up! You're dreaming!

      :p
