Do these pre-owned phones have new batteries in them or not?
My guess is no
'refurbished' would imply they've been repaired because they had a fault (however this doesn't guarantee the battery is new — most of the time it's just a new motherboard, like what Samsung did with my S5 and LG did with my Nexus 5x)
pre-owned just means they've been used before, but in perfect working condition. None of the parts have been replaced.
Better get a new one when they have the storewide special. I got mine G930FD for around $500.

During eBay 15% off storewide from T-Dimension. I ordered single sim pink and they don't have stock and offered me white and don't have stock again and finally free upgraded to Black dual sim G930FD.
Not that difficult to find under $600 now from eBay like this one from Shopping Square outlet $565 so if they have 15% off storewide it will be under $500.

My mrs bought her iphone 6s plus as a refurb off cotd. No issues at all, perfect screen, a little wear on the back, but its in a cover so you cant tell anyway. Very happy with the purchase. 12 mth warranty too iirc
