another day another ebay 15% off…. Likely to be a 20% off next week?

    • +4

Not likely. Last chance for EOFY sales

      • +24

last time i looked theres 6 days until the end of the month…

        • +3

Long week. Forgot next week starts tomorrow. + for you.

      • +4

Trust me, EOFY eBay sales are just the beginning….. there's more activity in the lead up to Amazons local launch.

        • +1

Does anybody have a firm date for Amazon launch.Media is speculating few months from now to even 2018……….

I got offered a job at Amazon. Didn't take it because I didn't want to relocate.

      • Last time I looked there is 20% off here:

        Selected retailers though.

  • If I bought something yesterday how hard is it to redo with this discount? Item hasn't shipped yet..

    • +1

You need to get the seller to agree to the cancellation

      • +2

One of you would need to cop a 'strike' and it wouldn't be the seller.

If you have done this type of thing before you may get your account limited.

I'm kinda hoping for a deal with the max discount of $300 changed to something much higher, then I can clear my watch list.

        • +10

          clear my watch list

Tick 📦 then click delete. Much cheaper.

    • Ask seller to refund paypal payment and issue an invoice in eBay for you to pay again. Not sure if invoice step is even needed

  • Thinking of getting this pressure cleaner.

Anyone who owns a Karcher, can you please tell me if the handle shoots a dot or a small horizontal line? Makes a big difference to me.

    • +2

Not a Karcher but bought this one with 15% off during last year's EOFY sales. Works a charm.

Nozzle can be adjusted to shoot a horizontal line (wide sheet) or direct jet blast.

      • Thanks - just ordered one of these.

      • Champion. Thanks!

    • +3

You can also get a similarly powered/specced Gerni from Autobarn's 25% off sale today. $149.99 down to $112.5. Here's the link: https://www.autobarn.com.au/to28904

    • This one is better with long hose (very useful keeping machine away from water & easily go around your car without taking the whole machine)+it has some detergent attachments. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Jet-USA-3100-PSI-High-Pressure-Wa…

A plus for beating TA at his own game :-)

    • +2

TA's post provided the coupon code, terms/conditions and expiry date

      • Half of the posts don't include the required info in accordance with the guidelines!

    • +8

I only beat him in time. But my deal was only 6pm-10pm tonight. TA's deal was from 10am to midnight tomorrow and included promo code "CRACKER". - TA gets CREDIT if his deal gazumps mine.

  • +6

    We need lower minimum spend

    • +3

You won't get much discount from cheap items anyway.

I'd rather have a higher cap.

      • Yeah I hope of no cap and ebay starts selling property. Wohoo

      • No just the same amount (15%) with spending less.

I've bought enough shit from these sales, I'm not spending more than I need to and so far I have $45 in my cart.

These sales seem to be twice a week, I'll either wait till they drop the min spend or until I need other junk

        • +4

No just the same amount (15%) with spending less.

          Not same amount. Same percentage.

          15% off $10 = $1.50.
          15% off $1000 = $150.

          Not the same amount.

If you want to spend even less, don't buy anything at all.

I want a bigger discount because I need a TV.

          15% off $2000 = $300
15% off $5000 = still $300 due to the cap.

Whenever they do 20% off deals, the cap is usually $1000 discount per transaction.

  • Will they do 20% next week somehow?

    • +9

i foresee a 20% off ebay wide starting next wednesday as the grand finale for Hump Month….i'm still going to get something today anyway because i cant help myself :)

      • I will prepare my cart for next week though haha. Ozbargainers are fast! Might get something today too maybe

  • +2

Might be worthwhile waiting if you were going to do a big purchase today.

    Why's that?

    • +2

My post was originally suggesting the sale was 6pm - 10pm. TightArse suggested it starts 10am. CREDIT goes to TA if it starts at the 10am

      • +1

        Noble admission

      • can you use cracka and ctax20 aswell?

        • you would only be able to use one. Strongly suggest you use CTAX20 where it works.

  • +1

How the hell did you beat TA?

    • +2

"as seen on the today show" implies that it was televised and OP watched television this morning and got the details out sooner than TA.

        • +2

TA posted by got marked as DUPE by mods.
I had different PROMO RUNNING TIME which suggests that my source (TV) was different to TA's. Hence the info I provided was different to TA. (I provided as much info as was available to me at the time). it just happened to be that we both posted within 1 minute of each other.

        • +7

          @ggqroozn:
I'm feeling that you have a sense of guilt for beating TA. Don't.

        • +1

          @TightBottom:
no guilt. I believe CREDIT WHERE CREDITS DUE.

        • @ggqroozn: As long as it's a 15% credit from eBay for purchases $75+ :)

Maybe a last fling before eBay finally and deservedly pays some GST in Australia.

    • +18

      You mean we pay GST

      • +1

As a seller in Australia, can you believe you get an invoice from eBay Switzerland or Singapore? It's so wrong. They shouldn't get away with that. They will have to remit GST. Effectively it will pass through to the seller then buyer, but that's life. They will have some competition from Amazon soon.

    • +2

EBay will merely collect gst from sellers and hand it over to Trumball

    • The GST is always passed down to the consumer (i.e. us) so it's not as if the producer of the service will see a loss.

    • +1

By the way they have deferred the implementation of this till 2018

      • +2

OP is talking about GST on Ebay fees which was not delayed.

  • I'm going to be the first to ask…
    Any good ps4 pro deals?
    Ahhhhhhhh I hate these posts

    • Nope :( Hasn't been a good deal on PS4 pro's ever in these sales..

    • Any chance you are related to TA?

      • +4

Same tight father different sphincter mother

  • +2

can you use this code for auction items? the one I'm after is ending tonight.

    • +1

Yep as long as it ends and you pay before midnight tomorrow.

      • nm

    • Yup.

  • +4

Thanks OP. Have stocked up on everything I need and don't need for the next 10 years!

    • You got an iPhone 16 as well?

  • Can you use ebay make an offer and then use the 15%

    • +1

      Yes

      • +2

If they accept before the coupon expires.

        • Thanks, what if they accept after the coupon, can I cancel or forced to commit

        • @Jessie Ryder: I reckon they'll be able to give you some bad feedback.

        • @Risto: The ebay system doesn't allow bad feedback to buyers.

        • @wetsandwich: I thought you can see feedback as a buyer and seller.

        • @Risto:
You can see all feedback, but buyers can't be given negative. The options are only 'positive' and 'leave feedback later'. Apparently they decided it was a bad buyer experience if deadbeats could be made even partly accountable for their actions.
Even if you write bad stuff in a positive comment it gets removed.

        • @wetsandwich: interesting. Thanks

        • +2

          @Jessie Ryder:

Personally when I make an offer I sometimes state an expiry date in my terms and conditions. If the seller accepts my offer (The sum) and doesn't read my acceptance condition, then I think you have a very good argument to not go ahead with the completion of the sale.

So far I've never had a seller actually accept my offer post a stipulated date/time of acceptance.
It would be in their interest to oblige, you state the condition clearly, why would they want to accept otherwise and risk a 'delinquent payer'?

we must say that all these vouchers/codes are great. orders are up by 380% with six days to go before the fiscal. keep on buying guys.

  • Does it work for international seller located in UK, and item is in GBP?

Can I buy now and pay tonight when the 15% off code is active?

    • It's active now.

    • You most certainly can.

  • Go Go Go!

  • Thanks!!! Finally bought the Lego 42065 from Hobby Warehouse for $80.67!

  • Autobarn

  • What happened to all the SSD deals?

    I got a Crucial MX300 750GB for around AU$147 a while back and haven't found a comparable deal since.

    • +1

SSDs went up in price due to shortages.

  • How do you know if the code can be used on a particular item if the product page gives no indication?

Do you have to press "Buy Now" before you find out?

    • +1

      Use add to cart.

    • code is sitewide, so it will work….

  • Wednesday hopefully there will be a gaming P.C - if not parts. Had been travelling and missed the previous offers which really sucks

    • +1

Building a gaming PC and bought all the parts today, the 15% makes a lot of parts cheaper than through PCCaseGear, and mwave sells a lot of parts on Ebay that are insanely cheap with the 20% off.

      • +1

thanks can i ask what you got and the cost of the build

        • +1

It's a personal build, with a focus on storage (2x4TB HDD, 500GB SSD) and my first build from scratch, so you'd be better off with creating a build yourself.

The cost is around 3,000. Using the 20% and 15% off codes, it shaved off a large sum.

If you aren't familiar with building computers, you could try looking at a prebuilt as a base for your parts list. pccasegear.com should have prebuilt computers, with links to all the parts on their site in the details. Change what you want, then compare the prices against eBay.

  • Excellent. Time to find more things to buy.

  • Any good earphones to buy?

    • +4

      Yes.

      • XBA N3 Sony is good
