Cracking price. They've really ground down the prices at Kmart.

Bought 2 a few weeks ago and one of them broke on the 5th time we used it. Clip flew off and the guts fell out. Can't get the clip back in.

Well, yesterday's Kmart junk was better than today's Kmart junk.

Years ago they had a far better car section, and their clothes - particularly shoes - are a total joke now. The quality of most things has plummeted. I bought a 'stainless steel' shower caddy that was covered in rust in two weeks, and it doesn't even hang on the shower head where it gets wet. (It hangs on the cubicle wall behind the person showering.) Most of the clothes are awful polyester that makes your skin crawl. The few that are cotton are see-through thin and scratchy. And seams and buttons of both come undone/fall off. Shoes are so bad they're cardboard made to LOOK like vinyl. They're so uncomfortable I feel relieved to take them off. I've picked up two pairs of the same shoes there, placed the soles together, and the two different sizes are exactly the same! The next identical pair I picked up, the larger size was smaller!

When they changed a few years ago, they recruited people to take surveys. It was obvious everyone was either lying to them about the 'new' Kmart, or only focusing on prices and saying nothing about quality. So they asked people to. So I mentioned some things, and everyone else began to agree… Yes, the prices are cheap (not really true anymore); and you're right that the shoes are dreadful now, clothes are lower quality, appliances poorly made, etc.

Kmart, who asked for that, and had begun the 'online community' to 'survey public opinion' of their changes - removed us all from the survey - leaving only the people that were lying about the quality - telling them only what they wanted to hear, LOL.

Now everyone is used to buying throwaway JUNK. So Kmart doesn't seem that bad. But Kmart is nothing but a landfill importer now.

But I thought Grindr was free to download

    …oh wait..

    • If your are Tinder, then this grindr works!

      • Wait I'm confused … this isn't a herb grinder?

But don't you guys want the automatic battery ones so you can make use of your eneloops? :P

I mean here I am grinding salt and pepper with my own hands like a sucker because they didn't put enough in the liquid potato chips.

    • That kinda sounds like more trouble than it's worth doing :D

  • the fact these are always on clearance is worryin

  • +1

Would cost a fortune to fill the smaller grinders

  • What's the benefit of these over pre-ground salt and pepper?

    • +1

      Fresh is best

    • +1

For pepper, it is undoubtedly fresher (even if the pepper corns are older). For salt, it depends on what you're doing with it. If you're putting it in something that the salt will dissolve in then there's no difference, but if it's used on something where the salt sits undissolved then you can get a better/rougher texture, particularly if the grinder allows you to adjust the grain size so you end up with big grains.

I thought these looked horrible when I saw them in store.

    • I agree> I thought to myself. Who the hell thought this was a great colour.. We all make mistakes..

      • Might work as a small baseball bat so anyone who broke into your house could get a nice wallop over the head..lol

  • Anyone know of a decent set of salt/pepper grinders? I've had two identical sets of the Russell Hobbs brand. Both have broken in only 2-3 years.

  • Grinders $2 Each. You can not expect it last long.
