  There is a new bulb out by Xiaomi/Philips (made by Philips, compatible in the Xioaomi smart home eco-system)that sits in between the colour bulb and the white one:

    Interesting let us know how it goes, I have the xiaomi white yeelight and they are only dimmable but good for outside lights where I have them, it will be interesting to see if the Phillips ones can be used through HomeKit like the yeelights can as well

      Unfortunately this new globe is only 450lm (40w eqv.). The original yeelinghts are 600lm (50w eqv.). Xiaomi certainly needs to lift its game in the brightness department. The latest globe by lifx is 1100lm ….. Admittedly, it's 5x the price at us$60, but still.

      In any event I'll be interested to see how this Philips bulb integrates with all my other Xiaomi bulbs.
