    You'll want to get it professionally sharpened 2 to 3 times per year. You can do it yourself but you'll have to buy some honing stones and there is a learning curve to it.

    You will also need to buy a leather strop (I'm sold out sorry). You just strop the razor for about 30 seconds before each shave to maintain the edge between sharpenings.

    After your shave, just wipe the blade dry and thats it. So yeah there is a bit of maintenance involved but you'll have the best shave of your life once you learn how to use one.

      Thanks, When is the next price drop on? id go that Simpson in a heart beat, + goods over $120 Value if it was 15 - 20% less… $40 is around my top price for a brush, i like the size of this, the others are too big, so be keen when that drops price and would do an instant purchase of over $120… Genuine buyer

        Lol shameless. Anywho I wanted to say that even though I only paid this arvo then the prices dropped apparently I'm not concerned, the op reserved items and went above what was needed to help me as the site was playing up with my phone.

        I think people should just be glad the op gave us the chance for a good deal, thank-you op and I can't wait to receive my items!

        The only point i wanted to raise is their RRP on the item i want is $160 roughly, yet i can buy it at many other stores with RRP for $99, hence my budget is based on 60% of what i feel is RRP rather than what is listed on the store.

        I may be cheap, but don't we all have the right to be?

        If i miss out, i miss out… I'm fine with that.

        oh… in Op's credit, every other price on the site is in line with RRP, so its only the Brush that is higher than what some others have (i say some, as some are that price or higher too).
