If you buy 4x boxes (assorted or same) of powder at $69, you get free shipping plus an additional $8.10 bulk order discount. Thus, total to your door is $267.90.
Each bag is considered to contain 1 day of food, so if you have it for 3 meals per day, that equates to $3.20 per meal.

    My experience:
I'm a single 28yo male and have been 'eating' Aussielent for about 18 months now for about 2/3 meals per day, give or take. I just mix it with water, though a friend prefers to use coconut water. It's not about bulking or any kind of health kick for me; it's about sustenance with minimal effort (I don't enjoy cooking) at a reasonable price. Of note is that I've not had a cold in the last year, despite being in an office environment, and have had more energy than I did in the past on a less nutrient-complete diet.

As for the flavours, Chocolate should really be called oat, as it has zero chocolate flavour. It's bland, but that's the point; it's really neutral and I've yet to get sick of it. It's my go-to. Vanilla lives up to its name and is quite palatable but it's a stronger flavour and therefore I tend to get sick of it for a short time. Body (vegan) flavour is absolutely horrendous — avoid, even if you're vegan IMO. It tastes like poison, and has a consistency that invokes my gag reflex.

I've tried (and actually reviewed) many of the soylents and all the flavours from Aussielent. For best taste and consistency, mix up a serve in a shaker bottle and shake it a bit then leave it in the fridge overnight. Give it another shake in the morning and it'll be a much better taste and consistency than if you'd just mixed it and drunk it straight away.

I definitely agree the 'body' flavour is extremely unpalatable. The only real other competitor to Aussielent in Australia is OZsoylent (which I did a comparison on here) and their original flavour is just as disgusting as Aussielents Body.

        Soylent Green is people!

    • I prefer vanilla myself, perhaps as I like to blend it with frozen banana. Agree about body, it is not great. My vegan friend thought it was ok, but I much prefer the other two.

  • A few months ago the vanilla flavour was very mild, almost tasteless. However the latest batch I ordered last month has a much stronger flavour (and a weird smell) which I really don't like.

As an Ozbargainer. I must point out that it is cheaper to buy 7 x Single day packs vs the "bulk" 7 day pack. Even when you buy 4 x 7 day with the free shipping.

    • I realised that too. Seems stupid.

  • I will be ordering. I recommend trying blending the powder with a frozen banana and some multigrain crackers. Lovely stuff.
