  • I got spend $70/week for 4 weeks to get $50 off. Was much better when it was spend $50 x 4 | get $50.

    • +4

How much have you been spending each week?

Mine was $50 but one month I spent $65 or so each week, and then the next offer was to spend $70. Had to skip 2 cycles before it went back to $50

      • Happens with the spend $XX once to get 2000 points offers as well. Got it consecutively for a few weeks and it kept increasing by $10 every time.

      • First account was 4 x $50 7 months back.
Hasn't reset to usual $50. Only done small shops since. Still 4 x $60

        Used other account 2 weeks ago for 4 x $50. Now it's 4 x $60.
Will use first account & hope both reset.

        • Man mine is $130 spend per week. I feel like I am emptying half of the shelves in the store to meet my requirement these days!

          • +1

@Illyria: Normal weekly shop (for just me) was $40 last year, now $50. So $60 is OK. But not your $130!!

          • +3

@Illyria: Stop playing their game and open a second flybuys account? While you spend on one, the other will be trying to entice you to come back.

  • +8

Crazy the amount of free money Coles has been throwing at me lately…. I got another random 2000 points offer the other day , Coles Plus Save membership and now this!

    • Same. It has been nothing like for past 1+ years. And starting with tons of promotions since last $X/week for 4 weeks.

    • +1

Probs EOFY and had budget left to do heaps promos! Keep it coming!

  • In my app it says 'Offer 1' and 'Offer 2', both in the same activate button but they seem to be the same…any clue why the 2 offers…usually just 1?

    • +6

One is 10K points other is $50 off.

I choose points as it gives me flexibility when I shop.

    • +1

      I've always had two offers….

      • +2

Thanks tabboy and djsydney…I didn't notice the points vs $ off when I read it :o)

  • Was just checking my Flybuys before seeing you post and saw my offer. Been a while since getting a decent one. Got 4 x $60 for 10,000 points this time.

  • +11

Mine increased to $60 from $50, they are on to me.

    • +1

      Same here

      • +1

        +1

    • Same, I also made sure to not spend not more than $55 in the previous run. Won't do it this time at $60 and see how it goes the next time I get this.

    • +1

I like to throw in some $10 purchases every now and again to bring the max spend offers down… Seems to be work as I got another $50 spend criteria.

      • Made a couple of small purchases like $1.5 or $5 after I fulfilled the previous 4 week run, still got an increase from $50 to $60.

    • Me too

    • Mine has gone from $60 a few weeks ago (got 10K points just 2 weeks ago), now down to $50/week. They like me :)

  • got spend $50 which is nice.

  • Mine still at $90, though am sure it was much higher a while back
Don’t reckon we’ve done a shop at Coles for 2 months

  • I activated this the last time and completed 4 transactions >50. Never saw the $50 reward coming through. When I reached out to Flybuys, I was told that the points were added, but it's only valid for 30 days and it expired. Any suggestions?

    • +1

Did you select points or $50 off?

If you selected the latter, you will need to shop minimum $50 and will see an option on checkout after flybuys scanned.

      • I believe I selected points. Either way, is it only valid for 30 days though?

        • +1

Never heard of the 30 day valid rule.

          • +5

@djsydney: In the current offer I can see the 30 day rule for $50, but not for the points. This needs to be updated in the deal.

            • @gibberish1205: I see that 30 day rule for the other option too. Kinda sucks compared to the points offer to use at any time. If you don't shop at Coles often I can guess it'll catch alot of people out.

            • @gibberish1205: Converting to Flybuys Dollars within 30d would prevent any loss.

I always convert to FB$ as soon as 10k pts arrive. Never lost any pts or FB$.

        • +1

Points do not expire unless your account is inactive for a year.

  • +2

4*$90 for 10,000 points oof, time to skip a few weeks at coles

    • +1

Get another account & use it for a while.
You will then likely receive 2 different offers.

  • +1

    Not again

  • +3

    I got:

    10,000 for $150x 4 weeks

    Or

    20,000 for $200x 4 weeks

    • +1

      I’ll choose $200 if I were you.

  • 60

  • +13

@Woolworths not sure you even care but you have got almost no money from me this year due to no offers like Coles here, who has had most of it

    • +3

The share prices say it all
      COL is going up
      WOW is falling

    • Have ditched woolies as they have become stingy with offers lately also not renewing the Everyday Extra as the 10% off with BIGW shop is no longer there, no incentives to shop at Woolies anymore

    • Same. I think Flybuys is having a real affect on many who would have shopped at Woolworths, their strategy is to reduce shelf pricing off 400 products, with these Flybuys offers the Woolworths strategy will see very little spend from me, only will be buying half price special and Campos coffee to use my 10% off.

  • Got $70 in one card, and $100 in another card
    Nice!

    • Can you link both cards to the same Velocity?

      • +2

        I have tried this before.
Not possible for auto redeem, but possible for manual transfer. You need to link one, do the transfer; then unlink and link the other one and do the transfer.

      • +1

Link second flybuys to your partner’s velocity and enable family pooling

  • Buy Gift card count?

    • +4

Nope. But Opal top up if you in Sydney does.

      • First I've heard of this. Is there a list of which Cole's have this available?

        • Wynyard and Mt Druitt are the ones I know off.

  • Got nothing

    • One of my accounts didn’t get the offer last time, so I bought a couple of fruits whenever I passed by. I got the offer this time.

  • Got $50 on one account (account not used for a while), $60 on another (this account had $50 last time and used).

  • Got $60/4. Good for opal top ups

  • Thanks for the reminder $60/4.

    More for the velocity points.

  • does it count if one pays with gift cards?

    • +2

      Yes.

  • +1

Cashrewards also has offered $10 cashback on $100 spend. Probably targeted!

    • +1

I got this offer, but annoyingly it's not activating…

      • +1

I felts there is something wrong too. I cant log into my coles account from there.

Make sure you purchase everything tomorrow as this flybuy point thing will start tomorrow.

        • +1

I just got a 'sent in error' email. Very annoying as there's just been 15% off $125 coupon sent too (using Deliver More). Combine with a booze couple and the order may have been almost free!

  • +1

Got 110 spend for 4x times wish i had the other ones :/ :D

    • Same. Jump from $50!!

  • +5

    I got 10,000 points for $50 spend for 4 weeks =)

  • I have never been able to do this 4 weeks challenge, I don't know how others do it lol

    • It helps if you think that you’ll get a cool $50 worth of groceries after a $200 spend it normally eases the burden.

      • :s

I got this offer again for many many times. I think I should set reminders and at least do it once before I go lol

I'll probably go and get something which is 50$ like olive oil, can't go in to browse and waste time as Coles has no network coverage in their store and Woolworth gives free Wi-Fi, boring

  • Mine is always $100 plus. Not a great deal.

    • +1

Because you always spend 100+. Get another account and split spendings in half between them.

  • -2

Got spend $50 from my 8 accounts 🥳🥳🥳

  • +1

Just like a few weeks ago got 110x4 for 10K

  • is it in store only? or can I order online and get the discount applied to my 5th online order?

    • Both instore & online. But make sure min spend is not reduced by OOS items, discounts, & delivery charge doesn't count!

  • -1

Our shopping is roughly $50 per week… Got $60 in 2 accounts… Any ideas on what to buy? I'm in VIC

    • +1

      Vitamins

    • +1

Coffee beans, oil, flour, sugar, and rice

    • 4L tin of olive oil.

    • We buy a lot of big tins of tuna for our dog's food to pad it out.

  • $50/week for 4 weeks -> 10k points

  • +1

I have a spend $50 get 1000 points offer to stack with (tomorrow only).

  • got $80 spend on mine (went up $10) and nothing on my husband's…..I will do it for mine this time, as we only got the one deal, but hopefully next time my husband's account will get it again (usually $50 on his when he gets it). I signed up for the free 3 months of coles plus and plus saver so will nominate next week for the 10% off as well (obv making sure it is still over $80 with the discount taken off)

  • $90 :(

  • +2

    Thanks 👍
Checked Flybuys early this morning to shop today. This offer was not shown.
    Now have 4 x $60, up from $50.
    Will shop tomorrow.

  • I got 10,000 points for $50 spend for 4 weeks

  • Do they operate like Woolworths, where they still give you the points if you order the minimum spend but out-of-stock items takes your order below the minimum spend?

    • +1

Think both now don't allow below min spend for any reason.
In the past, placed orders with known OOS items to qualify for lower spend. Rang & they always fixed any problem.

Coles T&C: make sure min spend is not reduced by OOS items, discounts. Delivery charge doesn't count towards min spend!

      • Bastards!

        • My recent Coles order was $1 below $50 spend…
Had used a $20 off $50 code, on $74 spend (excluding $4 delivery)
But $5 item was OOS with no substitute.
Waited days to see if qualified…

Luckily they counted code discount as payment, so qualified for wk3. Earnt 10000pt after next $50 shop - in store.

      • +2

Last time, OOS items dropped me below the required spend for week 2. I waited until I'd done the 4 weeks then emailed Flybuys and they gave me the 10,000 points. This was only 2 weeks ago.

        • +1

That's great, but a bit risky to keep on spending hoping Flybuys approves!!
It's up to the person receiving the request.

Certainly contacted to correct many times in the past, but my reading of T&C is no longer possible with OOS.

In my case the following week offer showed in app - so knew had qualified for min spend😀

Had given up on delivery as had so many items OOS or incorrect. Was tired of asking for assistance because of Coles problems…

One call, a Coles staff member verbally abused me for complaining when order was very late & all refrigerated items did not arrive.
Reported to Coles - supervisor listened to recorded call, offered apology, said she would be retrained & gave a credit.

Now shop in local Coles as can be sure to meet spend limit. Avoids any issues.

Did delivery a few weeks back as unable to get to store.
Delivery has improved since last used it (had been repeatedly late), so will use in future

  • Mine's still at $90 even though I didn't take up the last offer and haven't spent more than $40 at Coles in the last two months.

  • +1

In my app it said 10 days left. So I shopped today, nothing on the bottom of my receipt 'congratulations week 1'. So I delved deeper into the terms - says week 1 starts 23rd and has 10 days. How can it be 10 days "left" with 10 days in the first week when it doesn't start til tomorrow?

Spent almost 1 hour on the livechat trying to get it credited, being given the run around by someone with 0 comprehension skills.

It should say "starts tomorrow" not 10 days left, which is absolutely not true.

    Not happy!

    • -1

If you count starting from tomorrow it is 10 days. It even highlights in bold that it starts on Friday. Always has been that way.

      • I'm not sure if you read what I wrote. It doesn't highlight it in bold until you click further in. It says 10 days left. It also says 10 days in week 1. Both of those things cannot be true.

        • -1

Every offer in the past have always started on the Friday. Just you have not been paying attention.

    • Just return the items and get a refund

      • +1

I'm not returning 32 items lol.

        • Sometimes Coles activates even a day early
