What speed are you providing with this offer?

    • +1

click on the deal it says "12/1Mbps"

      • +3

        Damm NBN is expensive!

        Glad I have FTTB!

        • +4

MyRepublic is still the cheapest for higher speed tiers. Even with FTTB I get around 57/27, not bad.

@tukanglistrik: Just converted to TPG FTTB - $60 (Same price as ADSL2+), Getting 92/38. :notbad:

I get 107/44 for the $60 a monthly unlimited plan with myrepublic.

My connection is great but plenty of friends are getting much less than the 100/40, obviously so many factors come into it.

Worst part is connection time, lately everyone I know is waiting 3-4 weeks and getting stuffed around. Call centre has massive wait times but once you get through they are great

        • @panderiz: dammm. I applied Monday. Got modem Tuesday, Since I couldnt be home 9-5 had to get install on Saturday.

No slowdowns/congesions or such at all! soo good. And I thought 20/1 ADSL2+ unlimited was good. lol!

        • @panderiz: yep totally. i ordered my service 23rd may with MR, still waiting. no-one seems to have any idea!

      • I did click on it, wasn't able to load it fully i think.

      hmmm

    Speed should be included.

Also who is/are your backhaul provider/s?

    • Thanks Maveot, I'll add the speed to the description.

GippslandBroadband is powered by AAPT, we have direct presence at every NBN POI.

Haha 12/1 with 2 year contract. Such a "great" deal

    • +1

      And BYO modem.

      • Hi Scab, we know that some Customers already have nbn compatible modems/routers. We encourage people to re-use as apposed to adding to landfill, but outside of that, we also know how frustrating it is when you get given a model that "does the job" but needs resetting way too often. We use and recommend Netcomm NF10WV as a preference, it's rock solid and can be used is all nbn installations.

        • The NF10WV is definitely not "rock solid" just google the thing, I have one.

  • +1

    12/1.

    Do webpages even load?

    • +1

12/1 works really well for most people.
Obviously gamers and tech heavy households might benefit from a little more bandwidth, but latency is the key in most cases.

  • +2

Seems like a pretty standard price for that speed. Where's the deal?

    • +2

Hi Khrome! "Where's the deal?" We are an Australian owned and operated business, supporting our customers at every step.
When you're in touch with us, you won't ever be speaking to someone off-shore, we are located in West Gippsland, Victoria.
We have worked hard with AAPT to secure some really competitive pricing, so here we are, that's our deal. :)

      • +1

What I meant was that your deal is pretty standard compared to many other ISP's that offer the same price, same speeds and are also Australian owned.
