Just bought one myself to add to the beauty of the tax return. Seems to be a really good deal, hasn't arrived yet so can't give a review myself but from what I've seen online it seems to be a great deal for the price.

Don't forget to buy through cashrewards for your 8% cash back (Until 29th June).

Dell cashback has been increased to 8% at Cashrewards (until 29 June)…

    • Thanks for pointing that out, I've updated the post. Heartbreaking though, I think I just missed it!

A shame that the graphics card is rubbish

    • Yeah, not the best. But I have a PC to play games that this wouldn't be able to.

    • Realistically, it's a good match for the dual-core processor. Plenty good enough for basic needs, and even a little light gaming, but not enough for heavy content production or AAA games.

If gaming, video editing and photoshopping is what you want, grab the E570p for 1077 as it's much more powerful.

Might need an upgrade in the HDD department though.

    • Also needs double the RAM, only 8GB :(

  • Really? Not even Gigabit ethernet.

    • Didn't even take note of anything to do with the ethernet port, honestly never used the ethernet port on a laptop

  • The rrp makes me laugh. USB2 and Ethernet speed are vintage. I don't understand why they still have these versions. It's like the R&D is full of fools - they say o.h. Public wants FHD screen then let's give them that and don't worry about anything else.

    • I thought the screen was also supposedly rubbish according to reviews

      • Yes you are right - technically it is rubbish but for non technical person it is full hd - as said the fools in R&D think consumers are fools and won't notice the diffence. The other thing I hate is incomplete information provided by the sellers in general- don't mention whether it is tn or ips
