Now I can have a real feast with my $5 off $10 app voucher

    • How do you get the $5 app voucher?

    • +3

OMG I have a $5 reward! (I finally opened up the app and signed in haha). Totally treating my little bro to a McFeast meal for lunch :D

I hope he'll be suitably impressed with my largesse.

Then why would they bother advertising it at Southern Cross Station Melbourne CBD?

      • +1

i could be wrong…a google search only brought up this deal for perth and there is nothing on their social media channels about it

        • Nup, currently being advertised on NSW free-to-air as well. So looks like nationwide.

    • Confirmed in Canberra. In store only. Not available in app.

  • +4

What does "McFeast" consist of? aside from the fries and coke.

    • +2

The greatest McDonalds burger ever invented.

    • +3

McDonald's McFeast consists of two 100% beef patties, cheese, onion, tomato and lettuce, served in a bun.

      • +2

It has leveled up since they last sold it. Double patties :O

        • +1

Hmm I just checked the app and it only shows one patty — it appears that list I quoted is from McDonald's in another country.

      • Isn't that a McDouble?

    • +4

Quarter Pounder bun, mustard, ketchup, McChicken Sauce, salt & pepper, cheese, tomato, pickles, lettuce, onions, quarter pounder beef patty.

      • +4

Yes, McFeast was the greatest burger McDonald's invented, but is no longer. It used to have its own McFeast sauce which was like a seeded mustard variant of the McChicken sauce. Now they just use McChicken sauce and does not do it for me at all.

A the McFeast 2.0 is just a quarter pounder with one less slice of cheese, +lettuce, tomato and McChicken sauce.

You can slap this together at any McDonald's by making a custom order ("Grills").

        • +2

That's just showing our age, but the old school sauce used to be amazing!

    • Confirmed in QLD

just ordered mine in store. The app still says $10 for the same store

  • +4

Mcdonald's give me a break, this month has had to much value. I need a day off.

  • is the McFeast on the app?
can't see it on there for my store.

    • I can see it in my app under McClassics. It doesn't have a proper picture though. Just a generic grey outline of a burger and drink. The prices as at 11.34am Melbourne time show full pricing so I assume it will for at 12 noon.

  • Still showing $9.xx here.

  • Its 12:02pm and Unfortunately price has not been changed on the App (yet).
    Maybe its in-store offer?

  • The app doesn't have this. So go to store. Will go at 1pm :)

  • 12.05pm and price has not changed in-app (NSW) :(

  • Not showing in my app either, gave up and got chicken curry instead

  • +1

    App didn't update. Lame

  • +1

Contacted my local McDonalds in NSW and confirmed with them that the $5 McFeast Lunch Special is ON! So just pop in store.

Unfortunately as others have pointed out, it's not updated on the app (which I can't say is surprising..)

    • Confirmed - Sydney CBD George St store (next to Apple).

  • +1

Can anyone confirm this deal is on in VIC before I get in my car?

    • +2

Was about to go and check but got sidelined by leftover cheese platter and desserts from some meeting. Currently scoffing down some Camembert cheese, crackers, some white choclate fudge thing and a jam sponge cake.
Hmmm. Cheese was particularly nice. Might go for the rest of the wheel and forget about maccas.

      • +2

Thank you for sharing. I was particularly enthused by the inclusion of sponge cake in your comment

      • Great story. Compelling and rich.

    • +1

Yes it is, just got it 5 mins ago. Their system shows the normal price but when you pay, it comes down to $5. The staff don't know much about it though.

  • Just got mine (NsW) thanks OP

  • Strange all I see is nuggets and shakes and nothing else? Is there something wrong with my app?

    • I had that as well. Had to unibstaal amnd reinstall the app

  • +1

    Confirmed in-store @ Springwood, QLD

  • Confirmed at the full-size restaurant in the Myer Centre, QLD but it wasn't valid at the smaller kiosk. Promo period is 10:30-2:00 not 12:00-2:00.

    • can anyone confirm the times this deal is available?

  • Can this be purchased at the self service machines?

  • +3

    I got mine southbank (vic)

Used self serve said normal price shows but as you complete order total comes to $5. Also as i was waiting, on the live menu board it says $5 small meal.

Also can swap the coke for bottled water

    • Ordered this meal 15 mins ago (VIC)- can only order through counter doesn't work on app. If you swap for bottled water it takes off $0.05 bringing it down to $4.95!

      • I prefer water and any saving is welcome

      • what brand water? is it mt franklin?

        • In NSW I received a 600ml Cool Ridge

  • Working in Sydney

Apparently all coke served is now zero sugar ?

  • +3

600 George Street charged me for the Burger ($6.15)… denied there was any special… Love it when companies don't communicate to front line staff…

    • Worked at darling harbour - staff member was unsure and had to check with manager

      • In canberra went in they had it on the (image rotating tv) boards. Guy behind the counter seemed new and was unsure but the manager nearby knew exactly what was going on. Its only the first day of the deal so bound to be a few people scratching their heads.

    • Complained to Manager, had receipt… gave me a Free McFeast Meal and refund…

      • yeah but my hot rods $5 lunch any my mcfeast $5 lunch today was still better

  • +1

doesn anybody else have problems with the APP mine keeps on showing no items in the menu ?

    • +1

I had the same issue with my app - I deleted the app and reinstalled it and it worked for me.

    • yup the app is a piece of shit. you need to clear the data/cache and re-login and it works

  • +2

Works on self serve, add 2 McFeast meals which show up at about ~$9 each (on the small McFeast meal image it says $5), but discounted during checkout. Can also add your $5 off, select the offer in app, select Scan, on the self serve select my offers and select enter code manually, enter code.

Just got 2 McFeast meals, one with shaker fries for $5.50

    • when you say during checkout, does it show the correct price before it asks you to pay?

      • +1

It will ask you how you want to pay and the next screen shows your order to confirm and it has the corrected price.

        • don't usually take lunch till 2, but left early and was quite happy with my $10 lunch

    • About to try this, sounds like a decent feed for the price lol

  • Still showing $10.00 in Nsw, such liars.

    • in store promo only

  • In store don't see any signs? And it's $9.55 small meal on app.

Edit: just ask around 5 stores its selected stores only!! Please update in tittle.

  • The self serve at my place has the small meal with a picture that shows it's $5 but it can only be had for ~9. I tired the trick to order 2 and get rid of 1 but that didn't work.

The manager was able to put it through for $5 for me when I showed the picture advertising it for $5.

I have a feeling it's not meant to be at all stores and I got lucky.

    Malvern, Victoria.

    • it doesn't discount until you get through to where you pay

      • No, like others, it did not discount at all and I had to get the manager to put it in.

        • so you went all the way through and chose to pay by card or cash?

        • @terminal2k:
Yes, including an awkward drive through.

The manager had to help the clerk at the front put it through after I came inside to then try the self serve method.

        • @c0balt:

drive thru isn't the same as the self service kiosk. the staff need to pick the right option for the deal when they enter it, where as it is automatically applied by the kiosk if you pay during the offer period (12-2)

        • @terminal2k:

We are going in circles now. After not being able to get it going drive through I went inside and tried at the counter. That did not work and the final price was still $9. I thought that the store must not have had it so I went to the self service machine and saw that the thumbnail image for the small McFeast meal showed $5 between 10:30AM (not 12 like this deal says) and 2PM.

I tried to pay that way but it still came to $9. I then lined up and explained to the cashier what happened and she got the manager. The manager then put the order in for me at $5.

Look I'm not a robot and neither are the cashiers, also did it occur to you that maybe, just maybe that not all self service counters have the exact same code between stores, let alone between states?

        • @c0balt:

actually no, I'd be surprised if there was more than one codebase across the entire network of self serve checkouts. they would just use simple triggers if a store wasn't participating in an offer, but that would prevent it from appearing in the food icon like you saw on the kiosk screen.

a guy from my office went to the same store as me in sydney and wasn't able to get the cashier to put the deal through for $5. I was able to get the deal at the kiosk. It is very misleading as the deal isn't applied until you actually are making the payment, and had I not seen other people mention this was the kiosk behaviour I would have cancelled my order before getting that far in the process expecting to get charged the full price.

  • Works fine at Roma Street, Brisbane.

  • Redeemed it all fine on the selve serve in nsw and with no salt (fresh fries) tasted great. Thanks OP.

  • I tried this @ William Street Perth Maccas and all went well.

As mentioned above it remains as $9+ at each stage until the very end it will show as $5 just before you commit to pay.

  • Can you use the $10 for $5 voucher with this?

    • +3

You can if you use a self serve.

On the self serve, add 2 small McFeast meals, select my offers on the top right.
On your phone, select the offer, select scan and then either scan the QR code or enter the code below it manually on the self serve.

  • Does the meal include chips?

  • Found the answer Any Meal come with Chips

  • Orderes here Brisbane QLD Myer Center.

    It's working!!!
Even though the cashier didn't know about
    It.

    Happyyyy!

    • +1

I got it today at Roma Street Transit food court. Also claimed the free no sugar coke voucher with it so got a second small drink with it at no extra cost.

Confirmed again in Sydney, George St, near Cinemas.

Not really publicised at all in store.

I was there and got mine before 2pm, it said Mc Feast Small Meal for $5 on the screens, as soon it was 2pm. Updated to $10.90 (or was that $10.60) for small meal.

    Thanks OP!

  • All good at Myer's Centre, Brisbane. It rings up as $10 then changes to $5.

Good burger. Had forgotten what they were like.
